Tera is the kind of game you play till the level cap, try and do some of the raids then get hit by such gear wall that requires so much grind you're better off quitting and trying out later once they make gearing easier.

TERA has much better combat and Elin if you're a lolicon pervert. It's a great game for about a month. Once you hit level cap you literally farm one dungeon forever because everything quickly becomes obsolete. It's also a horribly, horribly unoptimized game so even the most powerful rigs will be chugging at 20-50 FPS far more often than should ever be acceptable while the same computer would pull 300+ FPS in FFXIV.

FFXIV starts out slow. Painfully fucking slow. Most classes don't really start to become fun until level 30-40. It has way more side-content and, if you're someone who cares about it at all, the story is infinitely better. Incredibly optimized and even low-end computers can handle it decently.

I played TERA for three years and BHS has been dropping the ball so much lately that I just can't deal with it anymore. If you don't like Elin you'll probably feel very alienated and being competitive requires a fuckload of grinding to get the highest enchantment on equipment.

I just looked that up and found a video, it's kind of neat. It looks like it casts the spell instantly and removes that delay at the end. Like, if you guys are familiar with being able to move and cast at the end of the spell due to latency, instead of moving and casting it's allowing him to cast again immediately.
