The Estoc's speed allows you to dance around your opponents and poke them relatively safely, wearing them down over time. The DSaxe is great, but only if you can actually hit with it without risking being gangbanged. In many cases, the Estoc is a much safer option.

I know he won't because I know I'm right because I've been up against many different twinks and scrubs with my twink build and found power gets the job done, the point is to break apart each phantom and if you have the opportunity the host as quickly as possible with power and most of the time in a 3v1 the 2 phantoms are going to be mercilely attacking while the host stands back to avoid dying since obviously they don't want that so you need power to dispatch them THEN and ONLY THEN should you flip to something that can give you an opportunity to take out the host whether it be wearing them down with an estoc or crushing them with the DS axe

Not being able to access Grand Archives for all the great shit in there until the game is almost over, Elemental weapons being 99% garbage compared to physical, how long it takes to make non-pure physical builds worth it, how 40/40 Refined is just objectively better then everything while being pathetically easy to obtain on most main PvP builds with no sacrifices, and certain weapons just being objectively better then everything else in their weapon class (Carthus Curved Sword is the best curved sword, Witch's Locks invalidate every other whip, etc) just make me disinclined to play anything other then my quality build.

The thing that I'm wondering with Dark Souls 3 poise is even if it was 'turned on' what were the exact breakpoints for things in PvE and PvP? With how poise numbers on even heavier armors being drastically decreased compared to 1 and 2 would implementing it fully actually make things more noticeably different for players or not? I dunno, guys. I know PvP feels really shit for 1v1 and for invaders in general, but I really feel like this game was balanced around co-op. I've had a great time with it.
