she is though. her gun is literally the lightning gun, except in order to actually do anything with it you need to read the intentions of your teammates and identify who the best person to shield at what time actually is. her right click is tricky to aim directs with too, but it hits like a tank when it works.

she's fairly indexed and requires a lot of game knowledge, and in a game like this where almost no hero requires much mechanical ability or prior knowledge of the game outside of your hero's specific kit, that makes her one of the hardest heroes to play.

It's certainly bullshit for the few heroes who cannot quickly get away from Mei to avoid being frozen, or push Mei away, or outdamage her freeze, but those heroes are pretty few.
It's not at all like McCree's flashbang, which instakills every single character in the game and there is nothing anyone can do about it other than either predict when he's going to throw his flashbang or avoid going through corners for the entirety of the game.

You don't seem to understand. "Don't fight Mei in range of her freeze gun" isn't an impossible task. This isn't like where someone says "lol just keep moving and jump a lot" to counter Widowmaker.

You should be jumping against Meis anyway. The cone on the freeze spray isn't huge, she will miss shots if you're bouncing around like an idiot. This not only stops the freeze clock from advancing, it actively sets it back as you slightly thaw. The freeze slow down also does not apply to you vertical movement, so if you are jumping right when you're frozen, you are still a moving target that many shit Meis will miss or merely bodyshot, and you'll thaw before they get another chance.

Go play Mei for an hour or two and see how people play around you, then do that to the Meis you encounter on your other characters.

I think you're put on a specific server as soon as you open the client and then it cycles through whatever games are being played on that server which is probably why matchmaking is pretty garbage right now and the fact it takes nearly 10 minutes to search for another 6 stack if you're playing as a full team.

I don't think when it "searches" for a game, it's actually looking through all available players, just the ones that are logged into that specific server.

Her barriers block infinite amount of overkill damage for 2 sec meaning you don't die to the odd pulse bomb/rip tire. You can save your teammates from mcfucker/roadpigs. The fully charged lighting gun does like 150 dps. The blobs of shit she throws knock people the fuck around and do 120dmg at full charge. Her ult is one of the easiest ways to get a team kill. She can 1v2 dps who try to fight her at close range. Basically she fucking rapes.
