The Sniper in TF2 reaches full power at 3.3 seconds. Widowmaker hits it in about 1.2 seconds and can just fire off a quick second shot to finish anyone off instead of being forced out of her scope because her rifle is semi-auto instead of bolt-action. It's stupid.

I still don't know if this game is worth buying for me.
I like the game overall but I am not sure if I will stay for long, I played TF2 but I only had fun with irl friends. Not sure if they will buy the game either. Besides TF2 got boring for me and I don't understand why.

I was pondering if this was like League where I played for years even with some pauses of course, but the game would still pull me in with patch changes and new content. But I am not sure how good new contact will be on Overwatch. I also would get bored playing TF2 alone and not with irl friends, I think it will happen the same thing with Overwatch if I play it alone. Also will it have a huge rooster like league?

Any opinions or personal experience that could help me?
Also about Widowmakers, why people complain so much? It's a sniper like in every game and people complain all the time, or is it because she is OP in something that its impossible to deal with? I use to deal with hackers on TF2 that would shot through walls and I am used to leaving the spawn and dieing all the time, nothing is worse than that.

Hey, just a PSA for anyone on a GTX 770 or GTX 750 having driver crashes: the launch day (May 23rd, 2016) drivers from Nvidia seem to cause really bad stability issues in some cases (system hanging even after a reboot). If you pick Lucio Mercy won't be able to heal as much as normal, but if she isn't healing hopefully she's damage boosting. Her ult is also still useful. Most comp teams have Lucio and a Mercy together.

This isn't true. A meatshot does almost 300 damage. If you see him that's one thing, but if he truly ambushes you you're probably dead.

Anyways, there are other heroes who, given a chance to "fight back", can easily escape and continue being a nuisance and picking off squishies, or can even fully heal. If McCree's flashbang R2 combo is removed or even significantly nerfed a lot of other, far more annoying characters will become more prominent.

They're definitely going to be releasing more heroes over time, but I'm not sure if the roster will be "huge" or not.

I feel like the design of it would be slightly worsened if the roster was too big, unless they'd cycle heroes out or something like that.

If I had to guess unless they change something drastically it'll be more like a fighting game roster where they top off at maybe 30-40 characters overall.

Having too many heroes just turns it into MOBA-style balance where they'd probably have to completely gut a hero every patch or so only for another to take its place as the top tier.

Would it be too broken if you could right click to manually explode Pharah's missles? IE someone just dodged into a door after youve fired at them, and instead of letting it just impact on the area behind them you could force it to explode in the door opening, in case they just stepped to the left.

Your job is to just annoy people, and maybe kill healers and snipers that are super far back.
If you're diving balls deep into a group, save your shift or Q so you can stay alive. If you're just picking off a healer or Widow, just shift up to them and give them some hot monkey dick.
