I'm level 15 right now, and since I've first went to Novigrad at lvl 10 to meet Triss, it has become a chore to play.
Nothing but running in the city with the occasional bandits fight, I killed some bad dude who tortured people, helped Triss and the mages to escape, and right now I'm finishing the quest for the qt blonde bard, will leave this shit hole asap.
I guess I'll have to come back to Velen later, since there is quite a lot of level 20+ content.

Novigrad was the weakest part of the game to me since that entire arc takes place mainly in the city. While Novigrad is cool, I really just enjoyed roaming the countryside and exploring ancient ruins and helping various towns. It picks up again after Novigrad though, and to be fair Novigrad arc isn't as long as the others. Just keep at it and then you'll be able to enjoy Skellige.

In preparation for the new DLC I thought I'd upgrade potions and stuff but the decision soon made me wish to kill myself. Maybe you guys can help though.

1. How do I "farm" certain drops? I see a lot of sites talking about respawns but I'm not getting any. Tried both meditating for days, travelling to another continent, combinations etc.
2. Is the only way to get the recipes I miss to go opening random boxes like a chump?

Yeah there's some fucked exp bugs everywhere. I got boosted a level. Typical CDPR patches: They fix one thing, fuck up two others. Some consoles got to preload and play B&W already, which appears to be affecting some and not others.

I can take several hits by any monster without losing any substantial amounts of health, but when it comes to human plebs (any level all the way down to 31) they instakill me if it's a blackjack or other blunt weapon. Swords do not do this. Is this a bug or are level 7 blackjacks with 10 damage supposed to instakill my level 50 Geralt with over 6000 HP?

But anon, even the witcher 2 did not have this problem. There were nice leather straps connecting the scabbards to the sword belt.

Because of the animations tied to the sheaths in W3, they appear to have gone with a one-size-fits-all point at which the scabbards stay. Some armor makes contact and looks good (ursine) but with most other armor they are left floating an inch or two from the body.

What I wonder is, can a mod be created which moves the scabbards? I don't mind if they clip with some of the fatter armors.

Hmm, I have noticed a similar problem with the damage i do to monsters and bosses. They die way too quickly (e.g. Nithral at the very beginning). Also yes, bandits with upscaling seem to do a serious amount of damage now - 2 to 3 hits and you're dead; which is good, since the same applies to them. Faults seem to emerge with monsters, tho.

Guys I am really scared and getting REALLY autistic over this.

I am level 67 on my NG+ geralt, it's about as high as it will get unless I decide to farm 6000 nekkers.

All the armours and weapons in B&W are going to require level 69-70 to wear, and all of the remove level requirement mods are broken because of the new patch.

Considering it takes like 10 quests to actually level up (on average a quest gives you at most 200xp) am I really going to finish the entire of B&W with these new sets sitting in my inventory and be unable to use them?
