On PS4, is there a way to lock onto far away targets in DA:I like there is in PC?

I am replaying DA:I but feel like cheesing all the dragon fights. On PC I could just grab a mage and hit it from so far away the combat script never executes and the fight is easy mode. But on PS4 I am having trouble getting the staff to hit the dragon without closing in enough to make a target appear. But that starts the script and makes it an actual fight.

Sure. Qunari are a worse threat in Tevinter so I guess it could be more exciting. Maybe focus more on the culture that Iron Bull spoke about briefly.

And blood magic wasn't explored as well as in DA2, where it was more of a tool to write their way out of a corner. Last Flight was more or less about a Grey Warden mage who blood magic'd the shit out of the griffons to end a blight. That same moral grey shit coulld be applied in whatever they're making next.

They're only smug because their history is the only source of pride they have left. Sure, the Dwarves have their ancestors and the qunari have their Koslun, but they also have some kind of industries going on. Meanwhile, the elves have rely on their myths in order to construct a distinct social identity. I think Velanna illustrates this quite well in how she feels a sense of unfulfillment because she knows their children are going to idolize human heroes rather than retaining a distinct elf identity. Sure, the elves can come across as pricks in the games, but I like how their portrayal's also contain a sense of deep insecurity. It's more interesting than say, the asari with their "we're so long lived and superior" outlook

I bet part of that can be attributed to the writers trying to explain asari reproduction, since it doesn't really make sense even if you read all of the codices, let alone if you just rely on dialogue to learn about the universe
