Simulacrum Mesa test:

Tested against lv100 HG with Shooting Gallery active. At least two tests were conducted for each weapon, no significant variation due to RNG.

AkSomati/AkStilleto:

Mesa:

PM is clearly worse against HGs than either of the top 2 secondaries. However, this is without taking into account PM's ramp-up damage, and I also aimed for headshots. Overall, I think we can say that PM is worse against heavies.

Sortie Mesa Test:
Pubbed sortie 3 (Grineer Intercept, physical enhancement). Only 2 CP. PM easily 1-shot (2 bullets) the non-Heavy units; Simulacrum testing with only 1 CP showed the same result.

PM was significantly easier to use than secondaries (much better range, no need to aim), and against non-heavy units, had significantly better TTK than secondaries (since PM essentially instant-kills them). Ended up with 46% of total damage dealt in a team of 4. It's safe to say that despite lower DPS in Simulacrum testing against HGs, PM significantly outperforms secondaries in-mission.

0 survivability mods. Got downed several times; twice to Eviscerator blades which I guess go through SS; once to a kavat one-shotting me; once or twice to others I can't remember.

I'm not too sure, actually. Daggers tend to be the fastest melee in the game, so it stands to reason they'd have the fastest slam, too.

Redeemer may also work. Mine is pretty fast, but I rarely use it for slam since the damage is shit.

bonus is not non-existent. PM pretty much instant kills non-heavy units, which makes it significantly more useful than Aksomatis/stilletos for general mission play. In fact this was true before the Mesa change in starchart. If PM deals equivalent damage as your guns, it's always going to be easier and more efficient damage-wise because of its range and the fact you don't need to aim it.

The mobility issue is not nearly as significant as you make it seem. I only activated PM for a few seconds at a time to let it clear out enemies.

For AkSomati/AkStilleto this is the maximum damage build (interestingly, 90% elementals did significantly better than dual-stats for AkStilletos also).

here's a webm. 20 lv100 frontier hellions (chosen because they don't fuck off into cover), killed by PM in ~9s. The efficiency is unrivaled by weapons like AkSomati or shotguns; the only ones that come close are explosives like Tonkor, but even that requires considerable time spent running into range and aiming

Note that this was DPS test. You can clearly see Mesa getting shit on by explosives, and the only reason I didn't die was because I killed them so quickly.

Overall, I'd give Mesa a B- right now. I said she was viable. I never said she was good.

The idiot AI tends to focus on capping one point in interception, so frames like Ivara and Equinox can sit there spamming that point with sleep, then use CL daggers to finish off the remaining enemies and repeat. Sometimes the sleep bugs out the cap point and it'll be continually blinking aka in process of being taken over, even though there is no enemy around, however it never ends. The shit AI doesn't go for points that are in the process of being contested, and neither does it go to cap a third if two are already being capped. If you manage to bug out two different cap points the enemy never even tries to cap the points back. All you have to do is survive the boredom.

I've done playtesting with many of the nerfed frames. Grades/descriptions/builds are HIGHLY PRONE TO CHANGE

Changes since last time:

READ THE PASTEBIN FOR MY THOUGHTS AS TO WHY I CHANGED THEIR GRADES! Don't just look at the grade change and start shittalking.

Frames I still need to test:
>Excalibur: Preliminary testing in sortie 3 (Grinner Intercept) actually doesn't seem too bad. Damage is still decent. Likely drop from A to B+.
>Mag: Absolute clusterfuck of a frame right now. I barely understand how her new abilities work.
>Valkyr: haven't tried her yet but people seem to be okay with the nerf. Apparently the energy drain is still easily sustainable. Grade will likely remain unchanged (B+).

Note that many frames that were untouched this patch will likely have their grades changed. Power levels are relative, not absolute. For example, with Blind Mirage kill, Vauban will now rise from A- to A. Similarly, with Mag's Corpus annihilation gone, Equinox is now the best damage-dealing frame for Corpus, so she will likely rise by B to B+.

as it stands right now, the core for the groups has changed for all trials, including ones with exploits not listed in the pastebins

Blessing Trin is no longer part of your core. Instead, you'll just be relying on CC some more and have to kill nullifiers for NMTLOR again. Bless isn't completely worthless to the point of Oberon being better for healing, but just not worth bringing for the mitigation effect. You're just going to be using Trinity to top off health now which means you can either just force the EV Trin to do it, use health restores, or have a second Trinity (preferably as EV and not Bless build) to top people off in a larger radius.

TLOR core: Loki, Nova, Mirage, EV Trin
TJV core: Nekros, Equinox, Nova, EV Trin

These are just temporary for now and basically EV Trin's role is a bit more demanding than before. With the bless nerfs in mind, use the armor integrity restore mechanic in TJV and use a delayed detonation primary in TLOR to pop bombs. Or if you're willing to die for bomb pops (+/- lose sentinel), you can use a Nekros for ranged revives and extra CC with terrify. Have not tested other options such as Loki with switch tp augment but I assume it would work (you'd still lose sentinels most likely)
