I'm considering giving Baal the Light Swordsman's active (6 turn, heart->light, 3 turn unbind) for my Saria/Thor team.

The shitty REM swordsmen and fairy tale girls actually seem really useful for this kind of stuff.

Even though she has a nice 2 rows and 2 TPAs (TPA especially being more useful now that BSonia activates with only 4 water orbs) I still think I might benefit from putting her active on someone else and sticking another Sonia in her place.

The 3 turn 100% damage void is to avoid getting fucked over by illsix followed by DQ Hera.

You don't need two delays or any partial damage reduction. Your HP will be massive and so will your RCV. You'll be able to tank most attacks and stall for whatever skills you want to be back online for as long as you want.

If you plan on doing random easy dungeons, SI won't really matter. You just stall and kill.

Well, kinda. Mostly if you fuck up Ilsix at <50% into DQ in the Arena, but it's also just nice to have for other bullshit Dark types. Raph is honestly fine too, but the longer time that you have to stall could screw you, while on the other hand only having an answer to Dark could screw you. It's pretty much up to you to decide what's worth it in the end.
