How do I fix the Skyrim bug that lets you run normal speed if you draw a weapon while sneaking?
Tried googleing it, but nothing works. Even tried making a custom perk that's applied when sneaking + holding weapon to slow me, but that didn't work either (because I'm bad at CK).
Any help?

Ok so when opening a mod in TES5EDIT how do you see what the values a mod changes are set to in the vanilla game? I'm just trying to compare the vanilla code to the mod code to get a handle on what the fuck this mod does and how it does it soas to tweak it. In most other games I'd just put each extracted loose file in winmerge but this here is bat country... I'm clearly a stranger in a strange land.

I appreciate the pointer but that doesn't SEEM to do anything. Lemme explain in detail what I'm doing rather than being vague. I'm trying to tweak iActivate to hide some certain other UI things I've seen other mods hide so I was poking around in its data so try and get a feel for how it worked before I started fidgets with the widgets to add more UI hiding codebits...

My first thought was to look for the editorIDs in skyrim.esm and update.esm manually, then when that didn't work look for the formIDs, neither of which matched. In this case the mod is using stuff like "iAOpenFromInt" which I assume is a custom named ID within the mod. I'm also a bit confused as to where the actual code or data is... Maybe I'm on the wrong path, I might even be using the wrong program... Last thread or so somebody said to use tes5edit.
I really know very little and I assumed a UI edit would be a simple place to start as it is in most games but I seem to be in over my head here (believe it or don't I've not played skyrim before, though I mod other games, so I really know nothing).

didnt the code patch fix the save corruption problem in morrowind like... 7-8 years ago now? afaik the problem was entirely avoidable in the first place by keeping multiple save files but i never had to deal with it personally, i think it was pretty rare (although a shitty occurrence).

i must have sunk hundreds of hours into my first morrowind character, from launch carried all the way up up to the release of bloodmoon, that save survived all the official patches, multiple mod additions and removals when i really had no idea what i was doing on that front (nobody did at the time really lol) without issue, i even transferred it between computers at one point.

Any mods to use in a street urchin/thief playthrough? I try to get by without killing too many people and get rich by stealing, Thieves guild etc.
I also can't fight for shit if I don't get the jump.

I have been playing Oblivion for 55 hours with a shit ton of mods. I installed FCOM (yeah, it is shit, I know) with MOO, but also used the unofficial patches. Now I have found out the the unofficial patches fix exploits like duplication. And that sucks, because I wanna become a fucking god.
