Truesec defines what anoms get spawned, for example a -.01 sec syst will get 2 havens 2 sanctums at mil 5 with the ihub upgrades in.

A -1.0 system is the krab dream and anoms are more plentiful

I was looking at Interceptors and Assault Frigates compared to their T1 counter-parts. Is there a point to the T1s if you can afford the Interceptor? Seems like it's inferior in every possible way except cost.

Assault Frigates are almost the same except their speed is way less. Why wouldn't I get a Cruiser or Destroyer instead if I'm going to be that slow? Their tank is about the same with better DPS, AFs only have signature radius going for them as far as I can tell.

I guess I should probably think about a better reason than I like trying to solve problems regarding efficient operations(finding systems to mine in, shipping ore, moving/deploying mining barges/poses). I enjoy these things when I'm just working on a scale of what I'm doing right now and I think I'd enjoy it if that's what I was doing literally all the time along side boosting for people.

That's not a good enough reason though, I have no idea what I'd do with expanded mining yield from all the members. Packaging it up and shipping it to Jita seems like a waste of content for the miners, its much better mining knowing you are doing it for a reason.

I wonder if I could make a professional mercenary mining serfdom that gets hired to supply large amounts of minerals in some region and basically operates by jump freighting everyone's mining fleets into a staging system and setting up infrastructure for mass chink farming. slightly. they have better agility, capacitor and cargohold. I tackle for gangs using T1 attack frigates, and I find that literally everyone goes for it. if I was in a stiletto or malediction, they'd know instantly that I'm tackling for a fleet and they'd run away or not aggress or whatever. when they see some retard fumbling about in a slasher though, it's different. being cheaper is a great thing too, I pretty much just throw these things away. with an interceptor it's like you've fucked up if you die trying to get the kill, but with a 7 mil slasher, it's usually worth it if you've snagged a faction cruiser or whatever for your gang

Oldfag here. Thinking of resubbing, but on an entirely new character since I think the game is more fun when you've got less to lose. What's the current cancerous meta and how do I skill a new character to shit on that as hard as possible? Also I saw some videos of those Frigate Logi and they look fun, what are the chances of someone who has never flown Logi to be able to do that without getting dunked on constantly? They do look fun, but they seem like a paper tank with a lot going on.

Scyth fleet issue dual prop XLASB is an amazing T3D killing machine.

Any heavy brawler cruiser easily.
Cynabal.
Any ship with web bonus, Omen Navy Isssue if you don't suck.
Most attack frigates can deal with arty svips if used right since most never have webs or scram.
Any Battlecruiser and Battleship with 2 webs or a grapple / scram + web combo.
Svipuls are strong as fuck for their cost but they are not as OP as they used to be.
They have trouble with anyhing bigger than them, any T1 cruiser can deal with one easily as long as its not a shitfit, even the stabber assuming its in the svip orice range of less than 115mil and not one of those 250mil blingfits.

They just make people cry because they land into a gatecamp and get volleyd by arty ones or they think its smart to engage a gang of then on their epic propcy thinking its gonna tank some destroyers.

I also don't know how much minerals are generated from reprocessing compared to mining, but if you pulled out numbers you would have to sift out the actual minerals gained from reprocessed loot gained from rats because I'm pretty sure people make ion cannons and stuff to transfer minerals from highsec to null because its more efficient m3 wise. I still think its probably an extremely small proportion compared to ratting.

The response that mining should be changed because its easy is fucking stupid though. There should be a scale of risk vs reward with mining at the lowend when there is low risk to it and also low investment. With the cost of large mining fleets, subbing tons of accounts, and the fact that rorquals will have to be on grid the worthiness of mining will increase I think.

One of the reasons you can tell mining is absolutely integral to the economy of the game is that you don't really need to buff or nerf the yield to see market results. If its more difficult to do the price of ore goes up naturally, if its super easy the price goes down. Its not artificial like a lot of other activities in EVE. BOUNTY PAYOUTS COUGH

I'm not sure about stopping bots but active mining is already rewarded over afk mining. The yield from a covetor/hulk is vastly more than a mackinaw or retriever and you have to empty your cargo hold into a container every 80 seconds or so in a covetor/hulk. 80 seconds is definitely nit as active as like mission running but its certainly active enough that you can't like get up and go to the bathroom or watch a movie especially when you are running a ton of accounts.
