The challenge bosses also have additional mechanics. Servitor has shock grenades. Knight has mines. Minotaur has a gaze that detains. Cabal has flayers you have to kill to remove his shield (by far the biggest pain). Taken fallen has blighted bombs that suppress you if you find disarm them. Taken hydra has oryx's crackle and burn aoe nuke. Taken knight has fire that persists. Taken cabal is new this week.

Once you have completed the card there is no point to play by the rules. Just end every Ultra as fast as possible and Orbit out. The thing is these CoE rewards are not worth the spam. Sure 335 Ghost and 335 Special Weapon are nice but the loot table is tiny. Since 3oC got nerfed even the Ultras don't drop jackshit.

Variks has fallen weapons he can give you as rewards for ranking him up, the auto rifle is doctrine tier and the scout is high impact with 15 rounds so it's great for PvE.
