The hidden hero of this expansion

I legitimately believe this deck is the best deck for climbing the ladder right now because everyone is playing either zoo or shaman.

I expect this deck to get worse in a week or so.

Is the new zoo decks viable with 2 giants and leeroy? I don't have gormok nor the dust for it but have the rest of the cards

cthun druid is so fuckin bad i lose the game to a single rng'd flametongue totem

it doesn't matter if i keep dropping big guys when they can remove every single one with a 1/1 imp

90% of the time i'm dead by turn 7, and the game is already decided on turn 2

then when i actually make it to turn 10 i dont draw cthun or twins or any of the important card

and even if i do they still just die as soon as they are played

spending 2 months worth of gold on this shitty deck was a mistake

been working on this all day. finally said fuck it and crafted justicar. got a board clear version, an EDH/ reno version and a brann version that swaps half of the board clears for more cycling. not sure if 4 auch is too much, especially if i'll draw into them anyways. may drop one embrace for another circle. sylv/entomb should deal with cthun decks, boardclears for zoo. brann works well with the card draw and alchemists.
not sure if thaurissan is even mandatory, he's never made an impact so far (apart from the soft taunt).
any priest players here who have experience with something like this? im still sitting on a bunch of dust

Mage is pretty lucky comparatively when it comes to legendaries

Antonidas is always going to be good. Rhonin was in most tgt tempo decks, and Anomalus sees play in some reno and grinder mage lists from what ive seen. Flame levi is genuinely awful but hey 1 good, 2 fringe, and 1 bad isnt too bad.

Thats better than hunter, warlock, and arguably priest can say

It's still good in other matchups. Most priest decks don't vomit tons of minions on the board and most of your minions have more than 3 health plus you can heal them if they survive excavated evil, so even if they use it against you it's not that devastating.

Basically the only problematic card in c'thun druid is twin emp, or if he topdecks both dark arakkoa into giving an amber weaver taunt. Otherwise you just rip through his taunts with any combination of your buff cards and minions. And an amberweaver without taunt can be completely ignored for face because what's it going to do, remove a minion every turn when I can just vomit two more onto the board the next turn?
