Terra Battle. You won't be able to use the video recording, and there's a little bit of lag when the screen is full of very large groups of enemies or multiple bombs/capsules, but it's generally fine. I played it on a 4 from release all the way until I finally switched to a new phone last week.

I figured you can combo attacks but apparently you can combo attack between characters as well? Then there's that skill attack you do by swiping the portrait and then there's some super attack. No idea what the overworld/map or the meta game will be like.

Game looks ok though as far as these 3D games go. Seeing how many 6' drops people are getting I wonder what the catch will be.

There's some fucking next level impossible abs in the intro though.

LAV as an example need low distance kinetic ammo for more Infantry damage.
Then there are "special traits" to certain ammo types. Rockets -> Multi-Target, HE -> Fragment, APDS -> Quickfire...
Then there is the question on how far which tech is developed etc.

There's no actual list unless there's a Chinese compilation nobody in the English community is aware of.

It's only possible to see the full ammunition selection of a tank when you've fully promoted it yourself. Generally earlier ammunitions available are predictive of future ammunitions however there are exceptions.

There's no best overall ammunition type. However things to look out for, multihit(all rockets get this), quickfire(extra damage), and any variant of "Target's Armor is less effective".

You won't be seeing stuff like fragmentation and quickfire until late T2 and T3 but AP,APCR & HE works pretty well.
APCR for close range, AP for medium and HE for short barrelled LAV & SPGs.

Forge is too RNG to really be "time-efficient". If you're lucky enough on source forge to get some golds early, then you've bypassed grinding the prerequisite tanks and can save on the materials needed to develop them.

On the other hand, material forge is more consistent, and maybe better in the long run.

Anima is another way of upgrading. You attached the anima to the striker to get a boost. You can upgrade the anima as well.
As for character crystal, you use those to evolve the girls. Like 0* to 1* to 2*. You need 20 crystal to do the 1st evolution.

IRL the small turret resulted in small guns as early Marks have rather puny 57mm cannons but their armour should be top notch. Even the first Tiger captured by the Allies was thanks to a Churchill when they defeated Germany in Africa.

About all the depth to the battle system is that you can make parties with a lot of party bonuses, like all atk-focused or same rarity/type/element. But that's something to worry about once you roll more high rarity stuff, if you stick with it that long.

M1 is Montowers 1 characters, they usually have an alternate new version. Which is handy for team bonuses since they tend to have the same types.

I think I was running M1 Astaroth, new Astaroth, and someone as my attack team while I was still playing.

For new players it's usually advisable to roll a few times for a decent starter party of 6-8 "good" units before starting the whole "I'm saving for the 10-at-once events!" trek. Naturally, the point where you've got "a decent starter party" may be seen pretty subjective, so there's no definite end to that. I'd still consider it the better idea though to get SOME sort of decent party running at first, that'll allow you to comfortably progress in the story or do Hunting/Metal Zones and Dailies while you jump into the drought of not rolling at all.

As a matter of fact, due to the current timing I'd almost suggest not starting TB right now at all. Supposedly when update 4.0 properly goes live on Friday evening/Saturday night, that "newbie campaign" should start with it, which will reduce stamina cost of all CH1-5 stages to 1 and give some additional Chapter Clear Rewards (otomo tickets, among others). So one might reroll right now (unless the bigger pool of characters from 4.0 on is considered desirable), but powering through the early chapters is most likely gonna be easier & more rewarding once 4.0 hits.

The first few levels widen the range of blue tanks you can find cheaply.

Most inventory is tied to progression though.

Food I'm not exactly sure, but it seems to progress as I get each food item from clashing. Or maybe it's tied to volume. I'm up to steaks from clash rewards and I've managed to buy a small steak from port now.

Blueprints are tied to specials cleared. They're exceedingly rare if you've only cleared the first special that gives a blueprint and pointlessly more common when you've got all 4 specials on farm.

Equipment is tied to first 2* promotion and first 3* promotion. Never seen secondary slot equipment unfortunately.

I get materials in 1/5/20 bundles at 25k per material. Codons I've seen a whole bunch of quantities at 35k per 100 which is incredibly not worth it.

I plan on leveling my port to level 7 for the last two slots. I'll report if the inventory noticeably changes after I manage those upgrades from level 5.
