actually it was neat once you had a dungeon down and could run it super fast, but that wore off really quickly and even then my RL friends and I thought it was a boring chore.
Ulduar of course was amazing. I didn't even mind ToD, just felt like filler and everyone was annoyed. And went too long.

it's really interesting and too bad the directions they've gone since TBC. Attunements were a huge pain but it helped to show you were commited.

Which class is the worst at pvp at 70?

I started playing during BC and didn't reach level cap until a few months before Lich King dropped, so I didn't get to do much hardcore raiding. But I just don't get what people like about BC. The story is disjointed, Illidan as a character was ruined (but thankfully being fixed in Legion and his book), the questing is largely dull, the atmosphere of the zones is kind of bland with the exception of Nagrand. Maybe I've just allowed years of alts going through it ruin the entire expansion for me, but I have no nostalgia or love for BC despite it being my first introduction to WoW.

The private server community is just super-cancerous. For example, Hellground decided to open source their work at some point. Did they get any contributions? Nothing! Or let's suppose Shiro decided to open source Corecraft right now? A server like Feenix could fix https://github.com/ccshiro/cc-buglist/issues/1167 and a few other "critical" bugs and then they'd have by far the most polished private server in their hands (unless someone releases CC-Core server first) and barely anyone would wait for CC anymore (I do have a hunch the devs are going to publish their work at some point post-release, though, they've published the tools they've made under MIT and GPLv3 licenses, generally seem to be FOSS enthusiasts and the development of CC itself has been fairly open already). And would they contribute back? No, they'd actually try to sabotage all competitors because they're in it for profit.

Besides, there's logistical problems. The people who actually care to contribute are already involved in MaNGOS/Trinitycore/Oregoncore or other FOSS-projects. Then, a server like Sunwell goes open source. While it's without doubt a better starting point than TC is right now, how exactly do you pick that up? TC contributors are humans so they're not going to just abandon their project on a whim and many of the changes to Sunwell might be horrible hack fixes or feature otherwise different coding standards that make the work more difficult to continue. Indeed, it was only the source code and DBs that were published and there's no changelog/version control system repository so you can't easily extract any particular fix from Sunwell core and apply it to TC (it's possible of course, but not nearly as easy as it could be) or migrate to Sunwell development because knowing the code history is extremely helpful in development.
