We were working last 40+ hours on fighting that DDoS, spent a pile of money on it and asked tens of people for advice, we expanded our hardware structure to some crazy extent to fight these guys. We managed to secure the login and game servers.
The website has a strict connection to the game server. We have to make it work correctly with all the game server structure, or it will not work as intended. Also, we are afraid of loopholes the DDoSers could use to shut down the game server through a bug in the website. That is why we need to make the website secure.
