I did not talk to Anri in Catacombs and I've killed Horace. Yoria says that Anri is being guided and will marry me in the Church when the time is right. He's not currently in the church though. Have I broken the questline or can I still save things?

So the wooden great hammer is for sure the best weapon in the entire game, right?

Huge STR weapons like Great Machete are usually worse than straight swords, katanas etc. in PvP.

>trick them to rush me, L1 kill his yellow, mage bro is now dead and I use the 1 estus I have to get back to full health
>just me and the host, and he's a longsword + shielder
>b8 a few attacks / charges
>lock him into a big L1 combo
>1100 damage combo, he has 50 health left

By far the most intense invasion I've ever been in. Definitely going to run this build through most of NG+

Dark Souls 3 gameplay is kinda shit, but I liked the atmosphere although too many rehashed characters

Anyway here is what I think happens in the game:

-You wake up as unkindled and are immediately put under the spell of whoever is controlling you
-For some reason in the tutorial zone the time of day is very bright when you get to lothric castle you see that the sun is actually eclipsed
-Iundex Gundyr is the guy in charge of testing the unkindled of their worthiness (Iundex is latin for Judge)
-You get to the shrine which has NO exits other than warping, something the shrine in untended graves has, which connects to the dungeon of Oceiros
-This leads me to believe that the shrine you're at is a fake, or maybe an illusion, the fire is legit though, which might be a fake one tended by the (controlled?) fire keeper
-Why is the fireplace sword planted in Iundex Gundyr? And why is he infected with the parasite thing? Could it be he was infected by someone else to weaken him and let an unworthy unkindled through? Or maybe he's a fake animated by the parasite and the real Iundex Gundyr is the one in untended graves (which is much stronger)?
-Why do you find the firekeeper soul right next to the shrine in a tower? could it be the current firekeeper locked it away there (or someone else did to control her)? Why does the firekeeper express regret when you hand her the eyes and why is the firekeeper in the original shrine dead? Maybe someone killed her? Or maybe this is all because your quest has already failed from the get go (more on this later)
-Untended graves is pitch black, there is no one there because everyone is already dead or gone except for the old lady, which acts like she has never seen you because SHE HASN'T, you were led to the fake shrine from the get go and when you awoke it was already too late
-The intro states that unkindled can't light the fire, so why are you sent on a quest by the fire keeper and Ludleth (who for some reason is just hanging around)?

Hey guys, I'm using X Input wrapper for my DS3 controller, and Dark Souls 3 doesn't recognize my controller. It seems to notice that there's a controller there since the Keyboard basically becomes impossible to use and it shows 360 buttons, but, nothing is working. Is anyone else here using SCP XInput Wrapper? I'd really like to play the game but at the moment the best I can do is to get my controller to vibrate nonstop if I put in the x64 wrapper .dll file into the directory.

If most of their attacks kill said phantoms in two hits, it does matter. Because they literally add tens of thousands of additional health. It becomes a war of attrition, and if just one of your phantoms die, it's gonna add minutes to your kill-speed.

Actually no. Also they both give such a small boost that it's not even worth wasting a ring slot. Get yourself a proper shield and eat the stamina buff consumable thingy when you need it, it's almost 4 times stronger.

If you're having invasion woes just wait until you get to grand archives even against a gank squad you can do well.

Majority of weapons, spells, armor and items are exactly copies from previous games, very lazy of them.

Some of the covenants are broken, fourth game with the same bullshit.

Miracles and magic are in dire state killing off a lot of replayability value, did anyone play the game with variety in mind?

Miracles, pyro and magic works exactly the same as previous games, there's no change to the actual gameplay of it and no improvements.

Areas has reused assets and the first third of the game is incredibly lackluster with the same village, castle and swamp areas as previous games, no creativity put into it and entire areas copy pasted.

Barely any new mechanics, weapon arts are majority of the time pointless and most are just copies between weapon styles, lazy design.

Overall balance of the game is completely off, greatswords are underperforming while everything that is fast and easy to swing is overperforming. You'd think after 5 games this wouldn't be an issue, did anyone play the game with variety in mind?

The soundtrack is great, the bosses are great and the overall design of the latter part of the game is great but that's about it.

After 4 Souls games they need to move on, they need new ideas to bring out creativity because it's obviously lacking badly.

The way I did it on 2 of my low level runs.
