They all had full Dancer armor, FUGS and Dragonslayer shields. None of them were fat rolling either. Got killed in one hit.

I got lost trying to find that Darkwraith. I got summoned for Farron Keep earlier and walked into a flame not really sure what a phantom can do with them and ate damage. Best flames in the Souls series.

It's supposed to be like Demon's Souls where weapons start with lower scalings but get S tier scalings with Crushing or Sharp but instead the infusions just reduce your damage.

Parrying is fun but if you fuck up it's a death sentence and you have to wait like a bitch behind a shield if you want to be close enough to an enemy to strike when the small window opens. Playing the game on the easiest mode for both PvE and PvP.
Dexfags are almost universally hated by every other type of player for being notoriously reliant on the cheapest ways to play the game.

That being said, a good Str build on DS3 can fuck up Dexfags this time around. I'm enjoying all the hatemail from people who can't accept their ebin katana 'I watched a streamer use this weapon' build isn't working like it did in previous games.

It's just getting annoying. Just not too long ago, I had a host with 4 other white phantoms. It was pretty obvious that the dude was resummoning them and purposely staying in the area to gank. Now blueberries are becoming more prevalent in my area, and I'm SL18 and +2.

It's such a win-win situation for the host, I'm scared it's going to catch on like wildfire.

Magic Weapon et.al.
Soul Greatsword, Dark Edge (Farron Flashsword is busted last I heard)
Maybe a basic ranged spell for pulling things (again, Farron spells are not worth it).

Infusing:
Crystal and Simple are decent - crystal has better damage, simple restores FP. Raw might also be good if you want pure physical damage. I'm not sure if you can enchant any of them though. Also consider the Crystal Sage's Rapier - it should serve you pretty well.

Shit is pretty boring now. Every invasion turns into you trying to kill faster than the host can summon phantoms. Considering your limited with estus and the host/summons will have more than you, and your health is depleted. You'll lose more than you'll win.

In every game before magic was in some kind op. that's not the case this time, as magic got nerfed to the ground.
you need 50+ investment in respective stat and three dedicated rings for magic to be viable.

there are like 2 offensive spells that are viable.

as of miracles, lighting spears are terrible, as they are now only point-blank spells, and garbage for everything that stands 5 feet from you. range is general problem with magic.

hexes are worst this time around. pyro builds are ok.
you will not have a good pvp exerience unless you only co-op, as you will be curbstomped by everyone.

as for weapons straught swords are op, some halberds are ok too.
stay away form greatswords.

Welp abyss walker and deacon of the deep killed in my first session. Had a lot of invading and sunbroing, too. curse rotted greatwood was super bugged earlier. Wouldn't do anything but spin in a circle if a phantom was present. Happened like five fights in a row. They fixed it.

Have you guys had any luck invading at low SL? I got ganked 3 out of 4 times.

The fourth time I invaded the host while he was fighting the boss, I couldn't do anything.

That happened to me as a sunbro too, got invoked while the host triggered the boss fight and I couldn't cross the fog door. RIP.

Thanks. I do not mind about heavy investment to be it viable. It's just holy knights/crusader and wizards are my favorite play style in any game even if pvp will be hard or never be best in it.

I'm like 10 hours in and just started exploring the new moves. It also looks like there's crazy weapon infusion options. I'm pretty hyped for all the crazy builds that should be possible but I'm guessing it's going to be a nightmare to balance.

Also - that pilgrim that wants to "find your inner strength" or whatever - what the hell is up with that? Is it just 1 free level?

There's a frost knight in the undead settlement which is the second major area and its fucking Huge. It's where you encounter onion knight. Killing it drops a longsword with magic damage

Finally did it. Finished High Wall of Lothric at around 10-15 fps. It was a fucking chore but I got lucky and got around 20 fps during the Vordt fight.

Those minimum requirements are a farce, I have slightly better specs than them and this is all I can achieve with everything on Low, at 720p.

Cleric's Candlestick, made from the Deacons of the Deep soul, is a catalyst as well as a sword and has no Int requirement at all.
It does require 12 Faith, though. Best to drop 1 point in Int for the Sorcerer's Staff.

Anyone having weird issues with online?

Most of the time its fine, but occasionally when people summon me shit is fucked.

I got summoned for Vordt and couldn't see him. The host was fighting him like normal but I couldn't see him at all nor could I hit where he was.
Then I got summoned twice for Crystal Sage. The first time, I couldn't go through the fog door after the host started the fight. I could see projectiles and shit flying around on the other side.

The 2nd time, his clone never went away in the 2nd phase, so he never came back out of the ground. Host had no choice but to kill himself to restart the fight.

they made vitality(carry weight) absolute fucking shit this time for some reason, you need like 30-40 points in it to be able to carry heavy armor+tower shield with a relevantly heavy weapon.. and those ~30 points invested for carry weight give next to no other benefit
