How do you get the lift in the church with Siegward to go back up? I died and now it only goes back down to the road of sacrifice, I didn't finish exploring the area the upwards lift leads too and I left some souls

I'm assuming it has something to do with the Londor Pale Shade in Irithyll, but considering there's a summon that uses the Spotted Whip (which I have also found the model for) that is seemingly unobtainable, it seems like they only mostly cut the content and forgot to take it from certain NPCs.

Anyone have anything catchy for me? He's a foreign knight not from Lothric but traveled there and became one after mercenary work got slow and all the while trying to escape from some old dick heads from his home country. Tried to come up with exotic names. I suck.

Just dropped Vordt, The Master is still the hardest fight I had so far (assuming you don't cheese him). 3 parrys and a thrown dagger to drop him. I'm still shit at parry timing though.

Any decent looking gear coming up? Hate the starter set and might just buy the ring mail set off vender if nothing is coming up.

Is it worth grinding out 20k for the key to the tower behind The Master? Figure since I get 1k a summon I could just help people drop Vordt for an hour and have enoufe.

First playthrough of SotFS. Iron King DLC might be the grandest nigger shit I've played thus far. Claymore is pretty good. The range on the weapon arts hit and the fact it has good tracking catches people off guard a good bit. They think they can get quick trades in like slashing and roll but the tracking is actually good enough to catch them near the end of their roll. Weapon arts guard breaks shieldfags so you can put them in the dirt.

Lothric Knight Sword might be better though, due to the faster swings, don't know how effective the weapon arts is though, it definitely won't have the claymore's range.

Alright I'm fucking triggered. Chose Knight because I liked the armor look, and avoided the crashes at the start. Played six hours having a great fucking time and the game bluescreens my fucking computer. Try to load my save and the game sits on the loading screen for 10 minutes not loading. Close the game and try to load my save again, and the moment I load in at the bonfire, the game bluescreens again.

But the problem is I don't know what to play. Iv got two characters I always play ever since DS1.
Reinhardt, a knight with the heaviest armor I can find, the largest sword and the largest shield. He exist to smash face and take hits all day long while chuckling sensibly. Also specs into faith for self healing miracles in ds1 and lighting bolts in ds2 which made it pretty much ezmod

Or Karasuba, built for speed, katana with bleed effects, wearing light armor no shields only stamina and I frames. In DS I didn't do magic with her but in DS2 I used hexes and that was interesting with such an agile play style.

Both are fun to play but what would be more enjoyable for my first run in DSIII?

If you want to use a battle axe, then sure

The Deep and Fire infusions remove all scaling and add more flat elemental damage with each upgrade, Dark Souls 1 style. It's better than a normal weapon if you have low str/dex.
