The most dissapointing thing about DS3 is that you can basically only die if the boss manages to 100->0 you in a combo or you run out of estus flaks, the chug speed is so much faster than 2 or even 1 AND you can move while doing it.

Knight is great for strength characters who want to use heavy shit. It's also optimized for a lot of builds. However it has 15 vit which isn't useful for a lot of people. Pyro has 14/14 Faith/Int which seems excessive but it grants you access to pyromancy regardless of your build.

I want to know this as well. It looks tricky because to get the full use of one magic school you need three ring slots for their respective spell rings (spell boost, greater spell bost, [element]-clutch), but I'm wondering if just going bellowing, witch, and sun's firstborn rings might suffice. Plus definitely throw in the sage ring to cap spell speed. That onyl leaves FP consumption as a problem since all your spells use the same FP-pool. There's one weapon upgrade path that grants you some FP-regen per second, but it sounds slow with no other means to passively regenerate. There's also the dusk crown ring which reduces FP-consumption, but you already have your ring slots full probably. Also juggling catalysts, but I figured that one out in DS2, though there are some hybrid catalysts I'd like to know more about.

But didn't the Furtive Pygmy take the Dark Soul and divide it up among humanity, hence the dark hole thing that contains the power of humanity in DS3? Hornet ring crits are still strong as fuck but you can roll out of backstabs now so they're harder to hit. Parries are still pretty reliable. Most daggers have a quickstep dodge weapon art which is loaded with i-frames and costs very low mana so you can be a slippery motherfucker.

That's what the Age of Dark looks like during an Age of Fire. It's basically the Chaos equivalent of Fire that was created via bastardization. It's Dark run wild in the same way Chaos is Fire gone wild.

Imagine if during an Age of Dark there was an area which was overtaken by fire and it was full of demons because someone found the corpse of Gwyn and decided to experiment on it. It would make the age of fire seem like garbage too.

Whether or not it is a good thing would depend on your point of view. If you are one of the entities that is in a position to benefit from the transition, then yes it would sound like a good time. From my meager understanding of the lore (mostly wiki research), humanity is going to hollow out eventually no matter what, so the wiser choice would be to shift perspectives and simply embrace it, finding some way to benefit from doing so.

So, maybe this is just unexplored territory? I mean, we're talking about pure fantasy. It seems as if it's not hard to imagine a future important NPC, perhaps in a DLC or something, who explores the hollowing deeper and discovers something beneficial to it, if you can beat the insanity it causes or something, perhaps with some sort of new magic or miracles or something.
