Hello I was wondering why nosg has its own general, it's a private server like the others right? Is it that much more popular? Any screenshots, recordings etc of the two guilds in OP raiding? Curious what's going on in the server. The only way I'd go back to 1x vanilla would be the community (which is the reason I think most people played WoW to begin with). More NA than Eu? I had to go deep in archives to find the OP picture and I found out that /nosg/ is about 30% more active than the whole rest of /wpsg/, the threads would be a shitfest without the split.

Also it's crowded anytime, look at this graph for more info http://52.29.29.88/ but it's too full on chinese time (around 3pm server time, France).

The horde guild in OP is just social, the alliance is doing pug raids, that means there's around 25 players from it and 15 pugs, that's good because the mats and some items only go to the guild.

I'm in it and enjoy it (I hate normie guilds) but I only did a few Ony and a MC, went fine if you're patient and like the comfy banter, but coming from a top raiding guild I'm not patient enough to do all raids with them.

Community is decent, just find people you like, or even a guild from your country if that's your thing. There's people at every level any hour to do anything including pug for all raids.

I didn't play wow before that but I fucking enjoyed my year on nostalrius.

Whenever I try to sell something expensive on the trade channel or AH, 100% of the time I will get kikes whispering me telling me my price is too high / do i want to take it off the AH and sell it to them for 20g less.

The other day I sold a skullflame shield. As soon as i started advertising it some jew whispered me about how he brought his for 140g so mine was obviously overpriced, so fucking what m8 the lowest on the AH at that time was 200g, and mine sold for 198g an hour later. There's a fadeleaf in armory, 2 goldthorns and a liferoot in cath, and grave moss and kingsblood in GY(also a fadeleaf in lib, but you need to be a stealth class to make it worthwhile)

Can be in and out 5 times in about 20 mins, wait for the instances to reset.

20x goldthorn goes for 4g~
20x fadeleaf goes for 10g~
20x grave moss goes for 15g~

I quit for a few months came back and started leveling again only to find the server overpopulated way past what the game was ever designed to handle and chinese gold farmers and botters left and fucking right.

I think the worst part about the china problem is that the staff will not comment on the issue, this big clustering update is going to fix lag (hopefully) and thats it. It's not going to fix all the other horrible problems caused by the chinese and a high population in general such as

I know the honor cap a few weeks ago was literally 1.7mil because of a shared account that was PVPing literally 24/7.

Needless to say I'm only going to be raid logging on Nost unless something changes. I will never level another character on the PVP realm in its current state.

As much of a meme as playing on the PVE server is I actually enjoy it and its more a blizzlike experience then PVP is the population is actually fucking blizzlike.

I'm 26 now and full Aff and he struggles a bit, and since fear makes everything super fast I can't always rely on it to not get me into even more trouble.

Hey, i'm a little confused on pvp and the associated rewards. I swear i played retail vanilla but it and tbc blur for me and I keep thinking there is honor gear to purchase.
So if i understand it correctly, the gear you can obtain is unlocked via reputations and ranking, right? Is there more to it?
I'm trying to figure out if I can see all the associated rewards by looking at the rep vendors.
Is there a particular rep that simply takes too long to be worth a shit? i know that even in modern retail i'm not exalted with some of these, but I seem to remember AV rep not being that difficult as I had the mount way back when.

Yes there is gear from reputation and the other gear is from vendors in stormwind/org Don't know what your pvp rank is but you won't be able to see all of it until a higher rank when you can enter the instanced area with all of it.

If I remember some of the rep gear and some of the rank 14 weapons for casters are not in the game until a later patch.

Make literally whatever you think sounds fun/cool. When you enter the game, pick up the first quest right in front of you, be sure to read ALL quest text and pay attention.

Yeah. That's pretty normal ping, at least for me (west coast US). For some that can be rough for melee or a class focusing on interrupts - i have a hard time sometimes on my shaman. But it's doable and lightyears better than the chinese or aussies have, I'm guessing.

sm/ruin is fine, succubus is good, of course felhunter is better, but sometimes I use succubus still.

I used succubus for awhile when i was new too, but, once you get better positioning, felhunter is king.

Paranoia from felhunter is so OP, that rogues become a lot less of an issue, you can always pop them from stealth. Warriors are still an issue, just always stay out of range of their charge and intercept. Basically positioning is everything with warlock, since you're an easy target once a warrior or rogue locks you down. You can't blink or iceblock like a mage. So you gotta stay away.
