As someone with 2k+ uses of SA and 200 of everything else, it's just fine tier. Main problems SA is going to run into is not tripping the useless Lance/Gunlance players, and slowly dying to chip damage due to pretty much all their attacks having super armor.

After many painful hours of farming I have finally gotten all the parts needed to craft my mixed set, only to find out shortly after that I apparently had 1 weapon slot enabled in Athena's Armour thing and my entire set no longer works with my Dios Switchaxe, which just so happens to be the entire reason I tried to create it in the first place.

I'd almost feel like crying if it wasn't so funny.

but it actually has some of the most broken shit in the game. if you equip the hororohoruru mace on a boomerang build, you can chain KO and sleep a monster, and if you go for a raw boomerang, you can do tons of damage.

i personally like it because it makes gathering quests a lot less of a chore, and offers a no-prep option for hunts.

The only great thing about it are environments graphics and flat grounds. That's it.

Daily reminder that monsters are not hard if you are a good player and know them, it's just you being ignorant and cocky. There is absolutely nothing wrong about using Evasion +3 or Evade Extender when fighting some 140 monsters online (dude stands behind you with gun, Zinogre wants to attack him, jumps out of screen, hits you with an attack you impossibly could have seen coming and dodge with only 7 iframes) and online lag.

Also, daily reminder that the real enemy aren't monsters but walls, ledges, bad camera (too close, monster blocks view), framerate and lag.

I know the Dromes were first man, that doesn't change the fact that the other Great Aggi's will never come back and the best I'll ever get is Great Jaggi as the first monster that dies in like 10 hits.

The worst part is they're using the old terribly designed (both moveset and visually) jumping raptors instead. Also the Drome/prey armours suck, besides the hat.

This is fucking stupid though. I understand that all weapons have some kind of resource management, but whetstones vs. ammo does not compare. Power coating limitations means that I'm basically only getting 70 bow shots at full power per hunt, at the cost of 20 nitroshrooms, and even those full power shots aren't dealing impressive damage compared to other weapons. Does that exclude bow from efficiently soloing gathering hall / elder hall stuff? I can't even imagine trying to solo Gogmazios with a bow.

i have over 3k solo hunts with bow.

you dont NEED power coating to last the entire hunt. with good play you can still do around the same damage as a sns user after running out of coatings.

now, bowgunners that are forced to use normal 1 is a different story. might as well be shadowboxing the monster. good thing its a lot harder to run out of ammo than it is to run out of coatings.
