Pyro's high skill ceiling doesn't transfer all that well in a high skill environment, most of the awesome stuff pyro can do is based on readings rather than reflexes, even more so than many other classes that require some big commitment to their position more than good aim and reflexes, like Heavy and Demo.
When you can't make a read on your opponent and they can rely on their position to fuck you up, you're gonna get fucked up real hard and you'll be able to do very little to change that
It's why nobody plays it in 6s 24/7 offclass than sniper, because sniper's skill ceiling transfers from low to high skill level playgrounds without any hiccups, a good sniper is gonna do good at all skill levels

Kritz counters it in pubs, but in MM the increased uber build rate make it the best choice by far. I don't think it really need to be nerfed, the lack of overheal + the fact that the uber is easily countered by burst damage doesn't make it that OP.

The in-game store is a ripoff at most, so only consider buying keys from it.
Trading is usually the most efficient and cheap way to get items, though, despite all the hassle with the new verification program.
People generally only unbox for a chance at an unusual hat or unusual effect on a skinned weapon if the crate has either. Chances are of getting one is very low, though.
Hats are nonessential to gameplay, and as such you shouldn't 100% judge how a person operates if they do or don't have any on their person. A lot of people usually don't wear any cosmetics to upset players when they get outplayed by them.
As an addendum, people with high level strange weapons, like "Hale's Own", probably farmed it up to that point.

There's a 3x3 grid on each mercenary's mental illness versus their professionalism, though I seemed to have misplaced my copy. Y axis being Mental Illness, X axis being professionalism.
You had Scout at 1,1, Engi at 2,1 (I think, my memories not perfect), and sniper at 3,1, suggesting minor, if any mental illness. You had Heavy at 1,2, Demo at 2,2, and Spy at 3,2, all at moderate mental illness. Then you had Pyro at 1,3 Soldier at 2,3 and Medic at 3,3, all of whom are incurably and undoubtedly insane.

Nah, the armchair psychiatry is very apparent. Feels like the guy went through a textbook of personality disorders and slapped on on each merc. Also seems to have forgotten that the engineer replaced his own (presumably) perfectly working hand with a robotic one and that TF2 takes place in the 60s.
