Getting 3 stat lines that you want is already rare. Getting 3 lines with decent rolls is even more rare. You probably have to spend hundreds on it, times three.

And even if you get 3 highrolled triplestat hats, it's not like other people have 0 stat hats. Hats with 1 or even 2 decent lines are pretty cheap and affordable on the AH, so in the most extreme scenario you would have to compare something like 350 ele damage with 170-180.

Still quite a difference in the earlier stages of the game but in the lategame it's not really a big deal. It won't help you at all in the actual hard content (Earth Tower) and in PvP it's disabled anyway.

Linker itself is probably the most broken/useful class though IMO. Also apparently umbilical cord now shuffles the whole party's stats so that's even more fucking broken.

You cant change classes later. Skills reset only with Item from CashShop or Founder. There is not Stat reset in CashShop, only for 50$ Founder.
In KTOS they gave one of both Reset from recent Events.

It's kind of easy to fuck up a character if you take a bunch of classes that don't compliment each other but as long as you have a focus you'll be good at something at least. Or you can just do Musketeer/Chaplain/Dragoon/Warlock cookie cutter build if you're overly worried about it.

Not really, you can go full lolipantsu and still be useful because most Rank 7 classes are way stronger than anything below.
You can however fuck up in skill point distribution, but this is a moot point as even with "perfect" distribution the game gets class balance changes almost every patch, so what's great today could be shit tomorrow and vice-versa. Besides, there are skill reset potions in the TP shop, so pay up goy.

You can't change class, you can reset stats using the stat reset potion that can only be obtained through events and special promotions, you can reset skill point allocation using skill reset potions that are sold for TP.
Rolling alts is sort of encouraged as basically the higher your character levels are, the higher your Team Level is and you get a 0%-49% constant EXP bonus based on that. This both helps you in making alts less of a pain in the ass, and also encourages you to have multiple characters to increase the speed you progress in your main as well.

Would something like C2 Peltasta > C2 Hoplite > C1 Fencer > C1 Dragoon work? With automatic weapon swap to work around the weapon type restrictions it honestly doesn't sound too awful to me, fencer provides both slash and pierce vulnerability as well as an okay-ish 0 cooldown skill in flanconnade.

I'm not a swordie expert, but the thing cata has over other swordies is the maneuverability. Trot has 100% uptime at lvl 15 and increases move speed by 20. combine that with Rush, that seems to stunlock and you're golden, not much can stop you.

Ebolt = 3. Faster cast time than level 1 (you don't need to full charge it since the extra damage is negligible, and yes, more level in it means that you can release a level 1 faster). Ebolt has a %attribute bonus and always do your matk * 1.5 as damage and push enemies way, very useful to setup some stuff when you can't jp+hangman (specially now that the cooldown is enormous). Also, combos with sleep.

EQ 1. Same shit, but you gain only extra flat damage with more levels in it, still negligible, you take 1 point for the secondary effect and it's also useful as a damage early on, remember that it deals 2x damage on targets with lethargy and also gets as +50% damage from JP's attribute. Also, this skill enjoys a +% damage attribute too, and it's pretty cheap to put it up to lv 50 easily It usually breaks the links, but it's useful as a finishing move when you play shit like cryolinker, for exemple.

Lethargy. 1 point is enough to combo with EQ and to get the useful +100% strike damage attribute. Lasts for a decent time. Some people may run it lv 3 to get the other attribute but i find it worthless.

Sleep: 5, very useful skill.

Reflect shield 5: reflects 4 hits, it's nice to have that extra damage almost freely, just don't fuck with your party member's buff when you are in a dainoless party.

Reaching rank 7 shouldn't take more than a few weeks, but max level is a month or more.

The reason for this is because there just isn't any content after a certain point. They're slowly adding content for level 200+ but after a while you essentially have nothing to do but mission runs and grind, so you level up slow as fuck.

I understand if they want to gate content that's not ready, like during the first test stormakov reached 100+ and nothing there was translated. Probably never. It's complicated to reroll a path with the quests/job levels.

Also it's a good way to increase the game longevity because of rerolls.

Also everyone would roll the most cheese class to level cap, then reset to a hardmode full support or something.

You lose out too much. Krivis 2 really only offers a stronger Zaibas and its AOE attribute. However, it's overrated because Zaibas sucks at AOE, since each hit will be drained VERY quickly against a pack.

Its other skills are 1-5 points wonders (Aukuras 1~3, Zalciai 1~3, Daino 5). You don't need any more levels to them.

So you're missing out on Diev3's longer Own Statue, longer silence statue, damage immunity statue, more effective SP reduction statue.

It's really a no brainer.

Zaibas 5 will still be useful (with Linker, against fewer targets and in pvp area denial).

I did a little research and found that in this game has a massive bonus for subweapon (in this case, Arde) that adds up on damage.

I'm planning on going 2H (https://tos.neet.tv/skill-planner#11222899.1125314553.2534455a657a8195.152545.155a657585), and I'm wondering if a high level doppelsoedner can clean some stuff.

1.DPE is worth it? Self Damage increase seems to be cool if every mob dies in few hits, but I'm guessing that late on the game (where I'd have level 10~ DPE) I'd get one shot by magic attacks.
2.LV5 Cross Guard is enough?
3.Are the 2h DPS as good as with the above dagger?
