If you have 3m or larger parts, add a small docking port between the mast and the rest. Place them side-by-side in a fairing. Make a disposable probe with rcs, sas, and a decoupler as a tug to reattach the mast to the docking port once in orbit.

Dude that is going to be heavy as balls, split the thing in 2 or 3 parts and make separate launches.

Use RCSBuildAid to balance RCS ports so you will make your life easier when docking the thing together again.

If you really want to send it up all at once, other than enclose the thing in a big fairing and building a fuckhuge launch stage, there is not much you can do.
I really hope you have KJR or there is no way that thing will ever survive the launch without wobbling itself into oblivion.

Very aggressive staging is your friend. Powerful, fast fuel burning being your priority. You don't want to use the same engine to get you all the way to orbit if you're flying something big; the empty fuel tanks are a lot of weight you can shed. Think less about rockets getting you the whole way there, and more about rockets getting you to progressively thinner and thinner air.

Save your old launch vehicles as sub-assemblies and make sure their description has the maximum payload it can deliver to orbit or some other measurable relative capability.

This guy can consistently get 10 tons to the Mun. Within that envelope, I know exactly what I can do with it. But a key point behind this is using 50 percent throttle until it gets to a higher altitude, sheds the solid booster, and accelerate to 100%.

Tech levels. That's from campaign, I didn't have a lot of choices for my engines. And the engine itself does run at full burn, but only after the Solid Fuel Boosters are done, and the only reason it does that is to augment that burn juuuuuuuuuuuuust a little.

Looking back at it, the throttles really just 20%. This came after a lot of iterational testing to find the sweet spot on that throttle. Go to fast, it'll snap its neck. Go to slow, you'll miss the injection.

By the time I go to 100% throttle more than 90% of the fuel is unspent in that stage, ready to be used with significantly reduced drag.

To clarify further; the throttle choices for the system change a little depending on weight and aerodynamics.

The Delta-V I'd save by throwing on a small, initial stage would be small considering how little fuel I burn on the main rocket, and would border on worthless complexity. I'd have to time it to make sure that rocket runs out just as the solid fuel guys would.

I used that system for a lot of jobs it's frankly overkill for though. But it's nice to not have to design the lower stage every time I feel like throwing something into space.

I also developed a ludicrously cheap system to for small orbital flights. It allowed me to mine a lot of money from contracts for next to nothing, my margins on orbital tourism was great.

That system and this system I used, or slightly modified, for most of the missions I've run in my most recent playthrough.
