So few days ago I had to completely restore my PS4 due to upgrading the HDD. Today I realized I can't use my previously purchased PS3 premium avatars. Sony, thankfully, has a solution.

Sadly, the rep wasn't able to give a price for the PlayStation VR bundle that includes the (required) PlayStation Camera and (not required, but important) PlayStation Move controller

So, why not just include a PlayStation Camera ineveryPlayStation VR headset sold? There's a (somewhat) reasonable answer to that: Plentyof folks already own a PlayStation Camera, apparently.

"We didn't put it in because many people already own it," Yoshida told us. Oh? How many people? "A large enough number of people," Yoshida said with a smile. He can't actually divulge numbers, nor could he offer a percentage — there are 36 million (or so) PlayStation 4s out in the wild. I asked if it was over 50% of owners; again, he couldn't offer a specific number.

Fair enough, but clearly Yoshida respects that some folks won't own a PlayStation Camera and will want a wholecloth solution to buying a VR headset for their PlayStation 4. Sony has another seven months or so to figure all this stuff out, so here's hoping it does.

I bought this for $20 from the PSN Naughty Dog sale yesterday, and god damn is this a well made game. It's the closest to playing a movie I've ever experienced.

I'm really impressed by the Naughty Dog remasters, the Nathan Drake Collection came with my ps4 and I loved that as well. I had a 360 last gen btw so missed out, I'm thinking of getting the God of War remasters as well, worth it?

Looks pretty Wii-tier, but the whole VR package is about $600 too much to get that audience.
Though it does show how different multiplayer interaction can be with VR, body language is almost a thing.
The next generation of VR will supposedly feature pupil tracking so you can actually have virtual eye contact and such.

Recommendation chart anon here. Anyone opposed to the removal of Golem, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, and Rime? Golem and UD:RoB, from the gameplay we've seen, are either really early in development or really cheap. I'd rather replace them with Tumble VR, VR Worlds, and maybe Battlezone or Thumper. As for Rime, things simply don't bode well.

What do you think about Onechanbara and Transformers? I know there's a good amount of arguably mediocre games on the chart already, but for some reason I feel like they further bloat the entire thing.

So yes, you can play SS without playing 1 and 2.

All three games are pretty good, with their own individual drawbacks too. Well worth playing all three if you ever want to, but do feel free to jump straight in with SS+FL if you like.
