If we take WoD canon, they were major assholes, even to their own kind. Basically one of their gods/champions killed another god/champion but was cursed as a result. He and his followers had a literal fall from grace where they couldn't fly anymore, which considering they're bird people meant a lot.

In WoD you basically help out of the fallen ones and fuck with the uppity ones that can still fly, but in BC you fuck with the fallen ones because the uppity ones all died when the planet ruptured. In both cases, they're just bird people that want to preserve their way of life/gain back what they lost and do so by fighting anything they feel is threatening their ways. In WoD its more a struggle for survival because the uppity ones are actively persecuting/killing the fallen, while in BC they just want every race to fuck off. I probably should have added, the god that was killed wasn't one of theirs. It was a flying serpent that wanted to eat the birds. So its especially dickish when the birds that can still fly start attacking the fallen ones despite their sacrifice for stopping the serpents.

I think this is the first time I bitch about this, but seriously. why does blizzard put you in games with guys that are too fucking good or too fucking bad? I can barely see the shimmer on High detail on maps like Tomb of the Spider Queen or Garden of Terror (night). On medium it's visible as hell, can't miss it. On low it's still worse than medium, but no where near as bad as High.

Rehgar main here, I feel that this is definitely a considerable change but some games it's so easy to keep myself alive that it's ridiculous, it was needed.

Though I have to say that self-casting my ult is less than 5% of what I do with it so it's not going to be such a big nerf for people who were already good at Rehgar, it just won't be a crutch for newer players anymore.

It's complicated.

In general, you're more useful when diving than frontlining. Try to jump on the closest immobile squishy and drop your damage on them. If they try to run, chase them with BB speed and autos until your damage cds are back up. If they turn around and try to kill you, drink (if they have no interrupts up) or use BB speed to dodge interrupts and skillshots. Never expect support when diving in, so always make sure your ult is ready to get out before jumping into a bunch of people that can kill you easily.

After 16 (or 13 if you took touch of honey) you can start peeling most melees effectively. Basically, if an enemy melee has a catch on one of your teammates before you start diving, drop your CC and damage on them and get in position to bodyblock for your teammate.

There's a bunch of nuance and shit, but that's a few basics.

Sometimes I or other tanks I get matched with see the perfect opportunity to get in the faces of the healer and two main dps in a teamfight basically distracting those 3 players but that can mean most of your team might have to be split between helping you and dealing with the other 2 players on their team.

What do you do in a situation like this where you're on the priority targets but not all of your team can get to them?

When you play as a backline support who isn't retarded enough to just rush into their entire team, you do fine and you can't get caught easily because of your high health, high movement speed and aoe slow.

He can heal himself more than Tyrande can heal herself (her heal is nerfed by 50% when used on her) just by using chain heal, and he can escape far better than her as well. And your LS is ranged so you can put it on closer targets or even your slow totem if you need to.

What can Tyrande, moralas, malfurion do when they are focused? Malf can put on a hot to not save him from burst, tyrande can do basically healing to herself, moralas can try to walk away without the ability to heal herself. Rehgar? He can rely on his high burst healing from chain heal, his % life shield at 13, his 30% in combat movement speed to kite and escape easily. Bar rehgar's always position badly and need to ult themselves, good rehgar's never need to use it because they know when to go in to auto people and when to play safe.
