The risks of getting fucked by it are too high to be worth. And also there are drawbacks and rare materials needed to use it.
The benefits of the skill transfer will be too restricted, situational and specifically crafted for each dungeon instead of adding flexibility and options to any given team for general use.
I will honestly won't bother with it if that's how it is.

The other big source is pal points. Save all your pal points as a new player and only use them when the pal machine says it has evo materials. Don't roll for enhance materials.

You'll get jewels/keepers/trifruits/twinlits and other materials that you won't be able to acquire any other way for a few weeks/months.
