I've played on PC, PS3, and PS4. PS4 community is probably the best because it's easy to get hatemail and you can't cheat.

The PvP wasn't their primary concern, I guess. From made the Claymore slower in a patch, but I don't know if it had an infinite stunlock. They just didn't care enough to remove all infinite stunlocks. I like the accidental toggling mechnic though, keeps you alert and it can surprise some people when you parry them mid combo.

hey there familias, I'm terrible at DAS2 and am just playing a character that seems fun to me, but I'm now SL92 and I'm wondering if I'm wasting my time with certain weapons.

So far I've been swapping between the Short Sword+10 and the Greatsword+10 and it's been doing really well for me. I just killed Smelter Demon and I'm on my way to the last primal bonfire or whatever is down there.

Thing is, I'm swimming in weapons. I guess +10 is the farthest you can upgrade something and I feel like these do good damage now but will probably not be that great later. I've got the Black Knight Ultra Greatsword, which I love from DAS1 (although I think it lost that amazing knockup move?), the Greatsword of the Pursuer, and I just got the Smelter Sword. All of these seem like good options but I'm not sure? What do you guys think? Overall I feel like I'm probably going to have to abandon my best friend the Short Sword and I am very sad about that.

The R2 on the Grant hits hard as fuck, but you need to be very high level to use it. Leeroy invaders work best as Darkmoons for this reason.

The armour has some of the best curse resistance if I recall correctly, Grant hits like a runaway train carrying several brick shithouses but it's slow as fuck. If you come across a any katana wielding poofters you can pull the whole "round the corner wrath of the gods thing".

If I make the Blue Flame raw, and spice down a few high damaging spells by a lot, how much damage can I expect from them? The wiki claims the results are quite good but I'm not that sure

Trick is to get closer so the attack frames from the end of its attacks don't all hit you. In NG you can wear heavy armour and heal after losing your stamina and just brain dead kill them.
