Use this. For normal gunning silver los is easily the best. WE+Crit Boost is ridiculously strong. I'm using a Challenger+2, Pierce Up, CE+3 set for pierce with the +15 Expert feather, but my charms aren't very good. That set has Pierce Up +3 OOO.

For pierce the key piece is Akantor R shoes for Pierce Up +5 and two slots. For challenger the key pieces are Brachy S chest and Gore R waist. Work from there.

R to draw, lets me charge a shot and move the camera at the same time easily. I played through all of 3U 3DS as a bow main so I was already used to the virtual dpad, and having easier access to it in 4U is way better than hitting L all the time to keep up with the monster.

Does Monster Hunter 3U use friend codes for online?

I went into online mode and there were no lobbies or anything, just put me in my own.

I just got the game because Mon Hun 4 and X are never coming to WiiU and my hand cramped too much when I played on 3DS, which has no online anyways.

village quests are all low rank and normally any crafted armor set can get you through 95% of it with a combination of git gud and armor spheres. bnahabra carried me well into high rank where the defense wasn't cutting it for stray attacks.

So what makes bushido bow so great? I mean yeah the easy dodging is awesome but I'm finding I'm getting better times just using guild style and good positioning. That double backhop works wonders too. The bushido evade still takes a lot of time and doesn't always get me in critical distance.
