I'm getting a new SD card next Friday, and I don't know how to move data from my old SD card to the new one. Anyone have a guide, or just give me some guidance on what I should do? Am I screwed since the firmware update is coming next Monday?

Calm down, it's easy and not too time consuming

1) Backup emunand and backup its folder in sdmc:/Nintendo 3DS/ (easier method: add a _ or something at the end of the folder so you don't have to copy it off your SD card, OR cut/paste it to the root of your SD card)
2) Go in emunand system settings, pick system format
3) Let it do its thing
4) Log into your NNID on newly formatted emunand
5) Restore emunand backup and put its folder back in sdmc:/Nintendo 3DS/

Persaonally on step 4 I logged in via the settings (into my old NNID) and then opened eshop. I don't think opening eshop is needed, but it might be who knows, so I'd suggest doing that, it adds about 3 mins to the method max.

It really should be mentioned in the guides though.

Nope. The current CFW's just seem unstable as all fuck. I'm running cakes and it's even worse, you can expect to reset 3-4 times per time it'll show its menu, and even then it has a chance to just blackscreen when you try to "boot CFW".

I just bought a N3DS as an upgrade, so that I can fool around with my O3DS worry-free. I'm going to system transfer (first time doing so), but I have one concern. On my 03DS I went ahead and did browserhax/menuhax, as per the first step in the downgrading guide. Is that going to effect the system transfer to my N3DS? Will my N3DS freakout because menuhax is on it?

why can't I install cia's on my emunand?

It works fine when I boot through pasta but none of the cia's I install show up when I boot through RXtools into emunand

Ok, Ive been having this issue repeatedly and Im at wits end as far as what I should do to fix this.

I downgraded my N3DSXL and backed up my emunand. Backing up your SD card files was a part of that process so I put my whole SD card on my computer. Then I rebooted from emunand9 with my backed up contents on my SD card. While I can still use browserhax and homebrew on the SD card, the 3DS' menu ignores all the games and file structure. Its a brand new home screen. I tried accessing my SD Data in System Settings too and still my games dont appear there either.

I asked Scream anon and he suggested only dragging the Nintendo 3DS folder and nothing else. That didnt seem to change things.

Tl;dr: My SD card games no longer show up in my home menu or system settings/storage. I can only access card files with homebrew.

Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask were only ruined a tiny bit. They fagged link up a bit and now navi basically tells you exactly where to go instead of some vague shit. The folder you need to move is the one inside Nintendo 3DS that corresponds with your emuNand. These folders are names shit like "45jhb5kjh3g45g3jkg" and there should (atleast I had) 2 of them. One is for sysNand, one for emuNand. Take the emuNand one.

Then at the end just do the opposite thing in emunand9 (it says "Copy from emunand.bin to emunand") or something similar.

Nothing else will be needed. It should look the same as it was before all this shit except now you have eshop access.

How do I go back to 10.3 so that I can start over with a guide that actually works? I'm on a n3ds on 9.2

Could someone help me out?

When I downloaded the files for the downgrading, apparently some must have been missing, because the screen always tells me about problems with the .cia files and I was told here that it simply means lack of specific files or something.

Could anyone link me to any site that lets me check it out, or a trustworthy download link? The pastebins are out.

I did it too bby, took me a while to figure out "duh, menuhax and CHMM don't work". Menuhax only works if you don't fuck with the themes setting on the 3DS home screen. Let it be known that I am so fucking glad that Japanese themes don't require a .cia installation.

Now this is where I'm going to have a problem, pic related.
This is a screen cap of my sysNAND folders BEFORE I set up the emuNAND. I have multiple sysNAND locations. I was told by another anon before I started setting up my CFW that by setting up my multiple .dbs from the dbs.zip and going to System Settings>Data Management>Nintendo 3DS>Software and repairing the corrupted files, that this would sort out my multiple sysNAND locations.

In the image you can see the two locations.
Those are still on my 3DS.
I have a new location now included with the older ones. Can I assume that one is my emuNAND?

The problem I'm having is even though the folder I made telling me that I am in emuNAND is there, I am used to the outdated rxTools where there were letters in front of the update numbers.

The problem is that you didn't us TinyFormat when you unlinked, so Nintendo saw you were formatting and then unlinked your NNID. Since you didn't purposely unlink your NNID, your emuNAND is logged into your NNID but it can't actually connect because Nintendo unlinked it.

In regards to miiverse, I got a new error after this (just got a black screen with "turn off and call nintendo" on the bottom). I had to install the latest update via .cia to play it again, same with PokeBank.
