Not sure if I understand this correctly - upon a fresh install, I can copy that entire virgin aa2 directory to somewhere else, and if I have to nuke my shit after fucking up a mod, I can just copy the directory back once I've deleted the busted one and have the base game again? (no need to reinstall and patch from the images?)
Doesn't installing "lock in" files or do something with the registry that screws things up if you move the folder around the drive or whatever? I can't into computers, halp
