I'll ask for mid Malzahar because for whatever reason I fuck people up with that champion (72% winrate and I'm around 50 games played) or for support because I actually enjoy playing that role. I can top all right as well, and I make sure to practice adc often enough to at least not feed the enemy. Jungle I'm hopeless at so if I'm last pick I'll just say "Fill, please dont make me jungle". I find that people are generally willing to give you a role if you ask politely, and even if you're playing your worst role you can still use the game as a learning experience. I do dodge if there is infighting in character select or an obvious troll.
