We were wondering about the well boss yesterday, while the spider is up on a timer the frog only spawns as a lottery pop from the tadpoles.

You likely won't get a title, they're generally from quest-chain bosses. You will get an achievement though, you can see them under Status.

Hope we get around to killing all the bosses, that'd be fun.

When I first downloaded this a long time ago, I could not make a character that was correctly anatomical; I looked like a gorilla.

But what threw me out is that I was thrown in town, with all the player shops, and no sign of what to do. Asked around for signals and pointings, but I could not get anything at all; All I saw on the distance is the town floor; no quests, no monsters on the vicinity. Nothing.

Though I'm currently looking for a MMO in which to trash my hobbytime into. How interesting might this game be, and what must I do in order not to get burnt out?

Also, I know it's not related to the thread, but I have to know anyways; I happen to find the most toxic community groups on every MMO I go into, while others say they only find minorities. Might that be bad luck, or a problem of my own?

I'm not sure how it was back then but now after the tutorial you're given quests to further introduce yourself to the game, generally it's just get to level 10 > find a job you like > unlock it. After that we've just been exploring together, finding new areas, figuring out how things work, that kind of stuff.

As for the community, I've always found that the easier the MMO and more solo-oriented it is the worse the playerbase. I'm not saying this game is particularly hard (at least not at the moment) but it's all about co-operation and partying so you can't really afford to be a butt to other people.

So far all the people who've joined are really nice and polite, but I've only known them for a few days. Make of that what you will.

It's good to know. My apologies, I just seem to have a curse upon me; On every MMO I go into, I happen to run into the most undesirables of fellows. If it's WoW, I can't find anyone who doesn't rage. If it's FFXIV, I can't do the content I'm supposed to do (raid), since no matter how much effort I put in, people won't bother to get someone who's new to the instances, even with prior raid's experience. If it's TERA, the sexualizing the people does on everything just kills it for me. If it's any Aeria game, leave the community shit; It's the goddamn company which throws me out.

Might I be too picky on what I want from the community? I mean, I've seen too many faggots and held in too much frustration since I didn't want to be a dick myself....

Oh, I forgot to address your other point.

The most attractive mechanic of the game for me is the job system, you can make quite a lot of different builds and for me that's appealing. The game is in general quite simple at the moment though, could be because it's old or because we're low level but we're handling content quite well for now.

As for getting burnt out I can't really answer that, the game is similar to FFXI or FFXIV whereupon each job has its own levels. So you could be a max level dancer and then change to a level 10 fencer to party with a friend. If you're so inclined you could spend quite a while levelling all of them and trying out new builds. You know yourself better than I do though.

Well, the thing is, I think I've reached a point in which I can't stand any kind of shit. I'm completely fine playing CSGO, since I know that douchebaggery it's a given there, but when I'm playing cooperative RPG's, I don't know what do I expect them to do towards me; If I'd like to do some instance, at least let the community give me a goddamn chance to see it from the inside, instead of putting me aside right away in some sort of discrimination.

In this game, long time ago, the community was like facebook with all facebook drama, not sure how it can be now.

Guild were like gangs where everyone hated each other and fought for reputation (literally whos in charge on the server)

The most shitty thing you could find in the community are elitist guilds that occupy leveling spots for hours only for those who they want to be leveling there. This meaning that you have to talk to them, maybe join the guild, literally work for them in the game.

The other thing is griefing, if you are high level enough you can tank and gather agro of an entire dungeon if you know how to do it. Then you go to someone you hate, you lose agro with abilities like "play dead" and such, in similar to WoW hunter, and the mobs will agro everyone around and kill them. This is called mob dropping, and its a DOMO meme.
