I made 6 bombs, tested one in the bomb range then got called off to take care of shit, the rest of the bombs ended up getting stolen from toxins,

Fast forward 2 hours, after many many bombs have gone off across the station,
I thought all the stolen bombs had gone off, so I decide to check. I test all the detonation codes 1 at a time
turns out one of the bombs was in the backpack of a guy in escape and he never disabled it. BOOM
escape gets blown up, and I get banned for 3 days.

I shouldn't have tested to see if the bombs were still live or active.

I know I made a mistake, and I'll just wait until tomorrow to play, no need to unban.

Botanist is okay. If you're new-new, you might want to consider going Assistant, Chaplain, or Cargo Tech so you can get a hang of the basics. They don't have too much responsibility or pressure.

Bartender and Chef are probably good next steps for learning how to mix chemicals and similar. Science, medical, engineering and security jobs are more involved.

around 12/22/40, that is with super cooling the oxy, without access to a cooling system, eliminating the CO2 from the mix, which takes time and precision, and getting the Plasma, after mixing with oxy as close to the flash point as I could.

Celt your lawset needs some major reworking. Infact the AI could have flooded plasma at the beginning of the round and would have gotten away with it.

Lets think about this logically for a second.

This has many outcomes. For one we know that the entire lawset revolves around respect.

Who disrepects the most? Humans and other species that are capable of free thinking. If a human disrepects someone then what? Does anything happen? There are no laws in place to prevent human harm so if there are 2 people fighting borgs can't step in. If the borg steps in he'll earn the respect of the man who was getting beat up but lose the respect of the man who got arrested. Is it a mutual respect change between the 2 men? Does the borg have to worry about the man not respecting him if he steps in? He needs to earn the crews respect because the lawset says, "be someone the crew can look up too and respect".

If someone doesn't respect the borg is he allowed to kill the man because the borg needs more respect? If the borg is capable of judging someones respect then surely it itself is capable of respecting others and if that is indeed the case then the AI doesnt need humans to respect it anymore as the "crew" can be defined as the borgs and mommi's. If the borgs are capable of judging respect and thus are capable of giving respect and all humans do is disrespect then the AI can freely murder the humans.

And "look up too" does it mean literally look up or figuratively? Because of the AI is too murder someone and turn them looking up, then surely they'd be looking up to the AI.

And if you're talking about the role of HoS, there's another complication in that playing Security on /vg/station is a pain in the ass due to it being consistently understaffed- more than once you will literally be the only member of your department, unable to delegate anything and forced to do all of Security's jobs at once unless you either get a borg to go Sec, have a late-joining player come in as a Security role, or somehow have the HoP convince somebody to join Security.

Even then, it's a small miracle if you end up with more than three people in total in Security during most rounds. It's not surprising that the few people who do join as HoS are either extremely good at what they do or are hopelessly incompetent.
