No, catalysts randomly pop up in alerts and invasions from time to time and after devstreams. They're pretty rare though.
They're one of the things that are worth buying with plat if you need them, especially because you can easily make 20p from trade chat but I don't think the weapon you have is worth putting a catalyst into.

Having played since the end game was endless defense and killing level 157 ancients was the benchmark, Saryn is in her best state.
You can effectively melee and range with her now.

They're trying to build something similar to a dyson sphere belt that goes around the sun but smaller So they're in dire need of tons of materials.

They operate in an invasion style sense, invading planets and places of interest.

Ex: You're in MD and in need of data, screen flickers a bit and no image appears, lotus reports unknown activity in orbit. Suddenly invisible enemies start coming in waves to get the data while also killing the Grineer/Corpus/Infested.

Locations of interest would mostly be where they can find salvagble metal and data such as Corpus crashsites and such.

The corpus hate them to all extents and seek to destroy them because of how well they stand up against them and their tech. While the grineer just see them as metal that needs to be killed and salvaged.

Nah I want something easier. A Syndicate mod for Mag called Fractured Pull. Enemies feet become magnetized and when you do the pull animation you rip them out from the waist or knees up. Enemies who survive are slowed down 50%.

I want to do something at least slightly realistic.
Some Cephalon has gone rogue and taken over several Corpus ships. All the "organic waste" was flushed out and only the repurposed robots remain.
The Cephalon has started using the factories in the ship to upgrade the corpus tech and even build some entirely new designs. It's a slow process though so these units are rare, most are recolors of corpus robots but with much better AI. No higher damage or anything, just much more tactical.
They work in squads, they try to corner and flank you, each unit has a role that it actually executes instead of randomly trying to take cover or running away.
To keep this up there are also leader units that stay back and transmit the Cephalon signal, if you take these out they go back to their usual retarded self.
Rarely the upgraded or new units pop up. Totally outlandish design, floating parts, lots of energy, round metal bits, think Gammacor and Simulor.
When they pop up they stop your connection to the Lotus and instead the Cephalon talks to you. Parts of the ship also got reconstructed, when you enter it's like the digital part that Suda has in the relay.
Fight with a lot of predictable and telegraphed but very dangerous energy beams/blasts. Don't give a fuck about friendlies, they do friendly fire.
Different new mission types on these ships mostly revolving around fucking it up as much as possible, because well, I don't know, we still need a good reason to fight them. Ideas?

Speed Frame:

Passive: reloading and melee swings are 15% faster.

1: Blink
Speed frame hits enemies in a radius so fast that it's almost instant. For every 0.5 speed that Speedframe has, the attack does 2x more damage.

2: Whirlwind
Speed frame runs around fast enough to create a whirlwind that traps enemies. Holding 2 makes Speed frame run around longer, increasing the Whirlwind duration at the cost of an energy drain.

3: Too Slow
Speedframe increases his perception speed and reaction times, increasing his speed by 1.2x/1.4x/1.6x/2x, reload and melee swing speeds by the same values.

4: Mach Speed.
Speedframe channels energy. While channeling, energy I drained but Speedframe has a 30%/50%/60%/70% (unaffected by mods) chance to dodge attacks. Pressing 4 again causes Speedframe to dash forward, through enemies and obstacles, only stopping when he hits a wall. Deals 500/1000/1500/2000 damage at max charge and ignores 20% of armor for every .8 speed that Speedframe has.

Stats:
75 health
150 Shields
50 armor
100 energy
1.32 speed.

Humans from different syndicates that abandoned the relays to live in hidden underground bases on earth and other planets/on asteroids. They basically want to restore Orokin Empire or to make a new empire as powerful as it and they are extremely fanatic at this, like if it was a hurka durka religion.

They consider all other factions heretics yet they do business with Corpus for dat extra dosh.
They try to copy Tenno abilities and warframes and also do tech tests for Corpus and Salad V.

They always spawn in squads of 4-8 members, or platoons of 4-5 squads each with an uniform of their respective syndicate. There's always a leader unity which provides the biggest boost and usually has copycat tenno abilities depending on the unit, but they're not as powerful as eximus units, yet they can spawn as one. They have 3 abilities unique to their faction, last 2 are related. First one is called Synaptic Link: Per squad, if there's more than 2 members alive, their health and shields are boosted by 100% * number of members of the squad still alive. If only 2 are alive no one gets any health/shield boost but a +10% mov. speed and damage on all weapons. Leader units multiply those values by 1.5 for itself and squad units. Second and third abilities are Swarm Force/Last Breath: Works the same but it isnt limited by squad size. All units within 10 mts of eachother get a +5% on damage and +2% on movement speed, in case of squad leaders/mechanical units, they extend that range to 15 mts/20 mts. When there's only one unit in a range of 40 mts and all units in that area died recently, this unit enters a beserker mode with +50% boosts on all stats.

I know corrosive projection helps, but I want to know how much, I want specifics - and it doesn't help that I can't exactly duplicate or 100% verify stats of things even in the simulacrum except for a target's HP and Shields if I use Covert Lethality on it, there are weird little steps like rounding or truncating values all over the place that result in my numbers being just slightly off enough that I can't get exact armor values of unknown targets (while 100% being able to predict exact damage numbers would make solving for a given target's armor or change in armor reliably easy)

has anyone done this for me instead? anyone know what the base amount and type of armor is added to enemies with or without, how it scales up, and what the direct effect of corrosive projection is? am I just approaching this all the wrong way? wiki didn't have shit

Squad leaders, as I said before, have chinese versions of tenno abilities. Some of those even work for the whole squad, like loki's invisibility. However, they can cast those abilities as long as they are part of a certain syndicate, for example, an ex-red veil leader can't cast snowglobe. Most defensive abilities like snowglobe have a "Reactive Shield", a kind of defense unique to this faction.

Reactive Shield replaces armor and shield in this faction. It basically works by protecting the user from a certain ammount of hits, but unlike nullifier bubbles they don't recover fast yet they can recover faster the more damage this unit causes. Each shield has 100hp and the number of shields scale from total health (TBD). However they have a damage threshold which, if 150% of the health is received in damage, they all break, and if it was 250% instead, the subject gets instakilled.

Also, mech units are wheeled or robotic vehicles that both them and you faggot can use, they're specialized (depending on syndicate) and also have modified warframe abilities. Small squads usually have a buggy or some kind of small, fast vehicle while big squads usually have an average size vehicle or vehicles for firepower. There's always 2-4 robotic vehicles per platoon.
