Is Santa Alter good enough card to invest my time and experience cards? I started playing FGO during Christmas Event and she and Heracles, both being level 50, are my best cards right now.

Although her skillset, high NP multiplier and animations make her desirable, one should take into account all these factors BEFORE investing a lot into her - namely fou cards. If anything, Santa is a good indicator of how prevalent power creep in terms of servant design and mechanics have been as of late - back in the day Santa would have been godly, nowadays she’s just a passable welfare servant. She is by no means bad - everyone else has just gotten better.

Can't decide between Caster Cu or Gilles. Gilles has the cool factor going, but Cu has some pretty nice skills and Wickerman is a funny NP.

I was wanting Da Vinci, but given the trend we're currently on (all female Servants get to be 5* and thus unrollable), I doubt I'll ever have her.

I think Cu is better and cooler. He is unquestionably the most durable Caster. His first skill and NP scaling aren't great, but they are still better than Gilles. Plus, you won't get extra copies of Caster Gilles unless you roll the story gacha, so it will always be shit.
