I can see that you're coming from a good place, but every single time someone has tried similar things in the past, it ends terribly. 3-4 days is a good check period. Make sure you chat up multiple villagers when checking, because the one leaving will never tell you they're thinking of leaving, but any other villager will tell you they are. When you find out who it is, save and quitting, reloading the game and running straight to them usually is the quickest way to get the ping that they're thinking of moving, so you can tell them to stay.

A catch, though: weekday-based holidays like Thanksgiving and Easter will be one day off for you. Not a huge issue, but a present one.
Also, turnips are pretty much dead to you. They rot if the game detects that you've played that time period before, so this entire year of overlap will mean instant rot. As developed as your town sounds, that likely isn't game breaking, but it's worth noting.

The path looks really flat and smooth. I'm not sure how it's done but it'd look better if you made it look more like rough stone somehow. Maybe look at real stone patterns or how others have done it?
