Going to smother this meme while its still in the crib. Suggested quest zones told me to go to Thayd. Going in from the north in Whitevale was guarded by NPCs who one hit killed me several times. So I went in from the east through Galeras. Same problem I started to think that Thayd wasn't a questing hub after all. So I hit N, suggested quest zones, sikabis station (lvl30), Navpoint sets me in thayd again. So now I am confident that Thayd is the place to go and with no other alternative I decide to go in from the west through Celestion as Whitevale has moutains land locking Thayds west side enterance.

The map shows where I drowned trying to get into Celestion. Where I then resurrected and looked for a computer that would take me to Illium. Finding nothing in whitevale that would take me to Illium I got in a flying car around Prosperity junction that took me to calm water commune. Where the questing hub for that area is, and also the only pilot in the region that will take you to Illium is located.

Needless to say I love this game despite its flaws.

Dominion do not HAVE Thayd quests. At level 30, you go to Farside

If you insist on swimming around continents, you need to hug the coast or the game kills you

you need to screencap your quest log and such so someone can fix your issues or lead you where you need to go

The game is pointing him toward the nearest Farside transport. Which happens to be in Thayd. ALL quests not on your current continent point to the nearest transport to that zone.

Apparently they didn't distinguish between Exile/Dom when making them.

I think reading quest text and what NPCs are saying is highly rewarding, not only for amusing contexts but so you can catch details later if characters reoccur, which they will do.

You only have to listen to datacubes, so that's not even an effort or timesink.

The rest is up to you. Personally I'm one of those guys who reads every book in a TES game. I think the writing is good enough to warrant that, only if to find something funny.
