Every time I try to make a new character in DkS I notice the face has a noticeably yellowish tint compared to the rest of the body. I tried everything even the beard option on female characters, and I still cannot tell what causes it. Can I fix it or is it hopeless?

I'm an xbox player who recently bought the PC version. I want to jump into the pvp, and I would use a mega mule of my own creation on xbox before (no ?wn? or any of that bullshit. Just upgraded gear so I don't have to farm up to a pvp level or run through the game 3 times for a weapon).

I know that most people use cheat engine , and I've checked the sticky, but I was wondering if there was a working mega mule script for cheat engine. I know there is one that exists, but for some reason whenever I try to click "enable" it doesn't check off and nothing happens. I know that I'm following all the directions correctly.

Probably the main reason I like the Souls games. I remember as a kid, I just played games, never understanding what the fuck to do. Whenever a cutscene happened, I knew I did things right. The Souls games do that for me. I can freely be as ignorant as I want about the story, and a simple boss cutscene or fog gate will always pat me on the back, letting me know I'm making progress

Using humanity allows you to revert from hollow to human though. And it was the original dark soul that created humans in the first place. So why would MORE Dark Soul power result in hollows and an undead curse?

If you're hell bent on using magic with that scimitar then you're probably better off using a BA on the sinner and turning her old soul into flame weapon. You aren't doing shit with magic or dark damage, and you're not so great with lightning damage. Your fire damage is also bad, but you can apply it with minimal stat investment.

The letter may not change, but you do sacrifice some scaling with infusion. You also lower the base damage. From the wiki:

The scimitar does get B scaling with its element though, which is nice.

Throwing resin or a magic buff on a weapon is generally a straight upgrade with no consequence. May as well raw up the weapon like the other Anon said and throw some magic on it.

Poise is only really useful if you are using heavy weapons because of the way it works in 2.

Yeah rolling attacks always stagger unless you are in hyperpoise frames, and you weren't
Again poise in 2 is far better because you can't just facetank every hit from a lighter weapon, poise exists in 2 as a crutch for super heavy weapons and against R1 spammer but there are ways to counter it, R2's and shit like rolling attacks, it is a far better system

Honestly I would prefer no poise, but DS2 poise>DS1 poise

Alright, so i want to a Ludwig build

Dark Souls 2 is the only game that has a helmet that resembles a horse, which is the Minotaur helm. Which is great because the archdrake robes look like what Ludwig was wearing. and the moonlight greatsword is in the game so i can scratch that off my list

here's where things get tricky. the only leggings that resemble horse hooves are Havel's, which sucks because it's a different color. I have no idea what can of gauntlets to wear. I was thinking about having the Thorned Greatsword and the claws as his off hand weapons

what gloves should i wear? should i use anything in my left hand? should i use any spells? do you think this build will look silly? I'm trying to do Ludwig justice

The Knight Shield is quite possibly the worst 100% block shield in the game. It weighs too much and you can find like 5 other shields early on that are lighter than it and much more viable for general gameplay with about the same stability.

I use a combo of spears/throwing knives to make the enemy sick and tired of me poking so they charge in for close combat, when I swap to IKUGS and unload on em. With it's range it's basically guaranteed to get at least 1 hit in, even if they realized they fucked up and roll back.
So yes, it's a gimmick weapon that can land a free 1k damage if you use it well

Not really any explanation, they just cracked down on CE usage. In vanilla DaS2 the only things that would get you softbanned were obvious edietd discrepancies between your stats/sm/etc and anything else that obviously wasn't legit like having +14 Poison infused Binoculars while you could do anything else you wanted like flip on infinite health and instakill scripts.

In SotFS however, many people report getting softbanned for having items at a point in the game they aren't able to acquire them yet, like giving yourself the Agape Ring right at the start. I personally got softbanned because I changed my fucking name by 2 characters. It doesn't matter if you do the cheating offline first either, because when you log back into online the server will check your last save and your new edited save and if there's illegal differences there you'll get slapped with a bun.

Just don't do it man, play through the game normally with a legit Agape Ring if you wanna twink.

That seems to be the generally the case especially if you did not invest much stats in dex/str. The best way to check is to go to McDuff with the item you want to infuse EQUIPPED. Then switch the right panel to this screen showing the total attack rating of your weapons. The values shown are affected by the scaling, BNS stats and your gear as well (i.e. +int +fai headgear, rings, etc.) but NOT buffs like flame weapon.

In this screen you can see that my magic blue flame gains extra damage if i change it from magic>fire. Although it gets a little more complicated than that when you factor in crystal magic weapon and the fact that i'm going to use it as a catalyst.
