The great loli kidnapping prediction

[part 1/3]
The next lore heavy quest will most likely reveal the true nature of the warframes, that has been hinted at for quite a while now. (Being that they are a special brand of controlled infested, mass produced from originals, like the grineer for our convenience)
Considering the current setup of factions and characters; it will most likely be our first introduction to the Grineer queens, who have been teased for years now.
>The grineer queens are actual orokins, so they’re likely the only major players in the system besides lotus who knew about the 10o and warframe relationship.
>up until now they’ve tried to steer clear of aggrevating the 10o, most likely because they know killing the warframe is useless.
>Capturing the 10o would not only be revenge for what we did to the orokin, but possibly also let them research the 10o’s unnatural youth and longevity, to try and cure the grineer degradation.
Reason for it not being Stalker/Sentients; is that they have just been played and I very much doubt they would use them again so quickly.
Reason for it not being Corpus, is that Alad V has just been teased as cured by us, so he will very likely play a large role in the quest, more on that later. But having a corpus talk you through killing corpus, would confuse the poor 13yo’s.

At this point they will probably reveal that the warframe has a very limited power supply, without the 10o feeding it energy, an orokin safeguard because: See Rhino P entry, and he will fit your frame with an experimental power source or some infested stuff.
Alternatively they didn’t have a safeguard in form of a missing energy source, but require a controller chip or something similar to not just devolve into a rampaging beast: See Chroma.
Whatever the case, it will be an excuse to introduce, yet another piece of ‘endgame’ content for us to grind and like the lenses, install on all of our frames.

A little story from GW2, we once got a 'dramatic' story cutscene, but the player character could be seen in the background doing the idle pose, looking bored.
Someone complained on the forum and posted a screenshot of their female human doing the stretch idle animation in the background. Guess what the devs did. fucking guess. they removed that one specific idle animation, on ALL female human characters, globally and permanently. The other animations still play, including the cutscene, but that one animation is gone from the game. No other player races were affected.

It's p2notplay. Everything can be earned by playing, or gotten faster with platinum. You can get platinum, the premium currency, by selling stuff to other players, so you're fine. You only really use it to buy inventory slots and cosmetics anyways.

As I mentioned above, any meta that isn't shit is nerfed out of existance. Viver, a good place for grinding standing, is a good example; outright changed the level so that players couldn't do that anymore, capped the standing, but didn't do anything positive towards it.

There is no balance. You can get excalibur, an overpowered rape machine as a starter, but saryn recently got nerfed because someone thought her mid-level nuke was OP (it wasn't)

The devs have good ideas (sometimes) and bad execution (often.) They are (or were) a group that is (or was) very passionate about their game, but they seem to keep forgetting how to make it in the first place. Expect bugs, random nerfs and outright deletion (but not really) of viable methods to play.

The meta is headed by Tonkor. Otherwise it's a pool of like 10 viable weapons or something with everything else being so much cotton wool. Frames are much the same way.

Balance is fucked. Devs have no idea that PvE games require the player to get stronger, not stay within the bounds of some kind of call to PvP balancing (though they do balance PvP and PvE completely separately.) Some things are insanely strong, broken in some (retarded) eyes and, in my opinion, should stay that way, while others (like Wukong) are so laughably subpar or outright awful that they beg the question: why does this even exist?

There is no pay2win, only pay to not grind.

How and/or when do invasion missions end? I read the wiki article, and it told me that they end once one side reaches 100%, but that was really obvious, so I already knew that. What I want to know is how does the game determine how the percentages move?

Is it just random, do they last a fixed amount of time with a predetermined winner, or does it move based on tenno completing missions for each respective side? I mean, I get paid either way so it doesn't matter all that much to me, I'm just curious is all.

it was terrible. it was wonderful.

it was gradivus dilemma.

the players fought for a side to get their rewards and eventually claim victory over a node. that node would begin attacks to another node, and so we would have a real input of the community effort to shape the solar system.

except the part where DE does things right. with the end of the event there were no rewards and some invasions lasted weeks, months before sufficient pubshitters ran them for the necessary 90k times total to complete it. DE couldn't just take the fact that they are shit at designing and making games for the past 20 years so they made them autocomplete. every minute or so the winning side gain a few free runs.

in about 3 days most invasions will complete themselves. might take 1 day or a few hours when the reward is useful

If you're playing nova, you should use the Tonkor or a similar explosive weapon as a primary.
Lex prime has enough kick to be a decent secondary or maybe hikou prime if you want to fire more than once with a finger press.
For melee the broken war, a reward for the Second Dream, is actually pretty decent for a sword. Looks cool,too.

Syndicate primary and secondaries are always an option too, but be prepared to shell out a little plat or do a lot of grinding for them. I'm fond of the tigris and hek, but I like big loud shotguns.

Stealth is completely underdeveloped in the game and whenever someone asks DE about improving it, they shrug and go "uh, we don't work on it directly, but it will improve as a consequence of us working on other stuff", which is just another way of saying they don't want to overhaul enemy AI.

I'm pretty sure they can, it's just that they don't want to cause it would require a major investment in time to make mob mentality AI compatible for stealth play. I mean the next big improvement for stealth play will be the addition to stealth detecting units, which will make the game more difficult for perma invis frames, but should provide a better balance between frames with mediocre stealth abilities and ones with superior ones.

Perma stealth isn't stealth. It's cheesing the game. If there is no chance for your stealth to get detected by the AI it's just a way of progressing faster. Before stealth can be worked on in any serious fashion the discrepancy between in stealth capability between frames like Loki, people who use the Huras, pseudo stealth(Banshee) frames and those who use nothing needs to be brought closer together, otherwise you end up with more easily cheesable stealth content like spy vaults. Excluding frames completely is not an opting.

Did chaining stealth kills really need a nerf? Wasn't it slower affinity/focus than Draco?

I know it's not what the game is about or needs to support as a priority, but I like the idea that it's possible (not just possible, but actually supported and rewarded) to proceed through missions in this game like it's MGS/DeusEx/Tenchu, with minimal or no stealth aiding abilities/cheesing of the enemy AI, even doing so non-lethally for different outcomes and rewards

as it stands, you can do it, but it feels bad, it's inconsistent, you're not rewarded for it, and there's generally no point except focus farming which is the only reason it's getting attention now, so it all just feels like "why?" like why have aspects of it in the game at all? I'm convinced they just don't know what they're doing, the unique development process for this game doesn't completely preclude planning and execution of systematic improvements and content or making a consistent experience, but they just fucking can't

With the exception of Mag, everything you have is worthless. The entire Mag set goes for 100-150p, idk about individual parts, and in any case it's more profitable (and easier) to sell the entire set.

Rest of your items are worth 5-15p IF you find a buyer, and I say IF in big letters because those random junk parts are in VERY low demand. You are going to be wasting a lot of time selling them for their market value. It'll be easier to sell them for 2p each to a junk buyer

you can effectively get 8 or 10 times as much xp/affinity and focus per enemy, so it was (is?) almost comparable to running draco, just with a different set of requirements (invis frame, or any old frame but a bit slower, plus a silent gun and a melee to do finishers, and multiple lenses vs 1)... as much as DE seems to hate things like Draco they seem to want to funnel us into having no options and doing only Draco (except not sharing focus gains and going against the old "killstealing is a public service" aspects of the XP system)

Never used a Glaive before, is it supposed to take this long to throw it or have they not fixed the >bug yet

There's no feedback, so judging the enemy's FoV is tricky, let alone the fact that the AI loves to bunch up in doors between tilesets. Or enemies spawning behind you, the inability to peek without using the camera PoV switch button, and so on. Even if those issues were resolved, you don't have any reason to do stealth. No increased chance to loot mods(thanks for stealing that mechanic, Ivara) and minimal xp gain compared to running around spamming abilities.

So I'm still pretty new to the game and using some birthday money I had left over along with a 50% off plat coupon I opened, bought 1k plat.

I know that they say to buy slots for more weapons and frames, but is there anything I can splurge out on or should I just sit on this stuff for now?
