i absolutely don't know shit about potion of strength and speed, which do i used based on weapon stats, speed for heavy weapond and strength for weak weapons ?
does it work on ranged weapons ?

Push if you're getting surrounded (as a shield user you can let yourself push more often for control)

Was a good run. The one before was better, but the game just reset right as we were escaping to the surface. All tomes, grims, and loot die.

I really think packrats should be pushable. They have some bullshit hook thing. It can't be easy to wrap those around someones head.

I had a good laugh in spite of my mild irritation. Is there a way to drop things out of your inventory mid battle, or do you just have to keep the fucking junk if you happen to find another? It doesn't let me switch items in chests or anything either.

Use a strength pot for anything and everything.

Speed pots are something else. I wouldn't recommend using it on yourself if you are using a 2H hammer, for example. It makes your damage/knockback window for charged attacks way too short and actually causes you to be more susceptible to hits. It's alright if you'll just be using normal attacks for the duration. It is perfect for weapons with no break in their attack animations, such as the rapier, BoP, beam, etc.
Good situational uses include destroying pillars/supports (strength pot is good here too) or transporting barrels/sacks.

I feel like that would make them too easy to avoid, that is all they have after all. I usually just face it and dodge backward after it tries to grab. Takes a bit of timing, but usually give you enough time to drop him without getting hooked.
