TERA was a special case because the NA and EU versions had a different publisher. Here it's all NCsoft so there's going to be differences between NA and EU, other than the fact that you don't have to deal with +100 ping by default, which, in this game, is pretty damn important. Pick EU. You need good ping for PvP if you don't want to work twice as hard to perform, and be flat out unable to perform at the very highest levels.

No use getting a founder's pack anymore because there's only one closed beta left, unless, of course, you're going to throw them money for the more expensive ones with actual launch benefits. The cheapest one just pretty much gives you beta access which is already gone after this weekend.

High level PvP which this game focuses on is equalized so it's literally 0% pay2win. You get faster exp, gold etc. PvE benefits with money though, but that said, the leveling is fast as fuck (like 24-48h in time played) anyway.

We had a kik that we used to talk outside of game, it started out pretty cool, we talked about non /d/ stuff and it was a cool place to get away from the rampant erp that happened in the guild chat, (People insisted on ERPing in the guild chat, very few people ERPed in private channels, which was obnoxious as fuck. The Kik was pretty chill, some nice discussion going on, until people started moving their ERP shit in there too, to the point where you couldnt even have a normal conversation in chat because 2-3 dudes were going on full petplay erp in the fucking channel, complete with "muurrs" and other assorted animal noises


I cant really think of any shitshows off the top of my head, but i remember an officer was ousted out because of some SJW bullshit. Apparently he called the enemy team full of Chinese players "fucking chinks" in pvp, and one dude in guild just wouldn't let it go. He kept calling that dude a racist, making sure everyone knew what a big bad person he was, to the point where the officer just didn't want to deal with any of it and just straight up left. Sucks too, he was the only level headed officer, despite being a massive furfag. I think he was the only person in the guild who actually played the game too, everyone else just sat in Hoelbrak and ERPed all day
