Uh, think of it this way - I'm an Australian KFM and I can reliably beat SINs, Destroyers and LBMs, even though they're all absolutely meant to dumpster me. Granted, I'm only at the 1500 range so far, and they probably haven't mastered the art of pressing two buttons (in the latter two class' cases), but I haven't exactly played a lot of matches on this character, either, to go further.

If you put in a tiny bit of practice (which you'll get while you're leveling your character, as long as you spec for the 3RF combo), even the 'hardest' class is still fairly easy to play as long as you do your research. Even with major handicaps. If you enjoy the class, go for it. You'll pick it up.

FM remains one of the best dps classes lategame, to the point that they're the only class we have right now that has the option to put reduced aggro generation on their main skills. They never become supports. Heck, they don't even really have supporting abilities. Every class can cc, though.

The best class to play with bad ping and not caring for difficulty is objectively Destroyer, even if it's cancer. What you do with this information is up to you. It stomps in both PvE, PvP and anything else you can think of with minimal effort if you get the basics down, and ping rarely becomes a factor for it. Animation canceling included (I felt I needed to include this because everyone mentions animation canceling as being bad when talking about high ping - it's not. Just use the semi-skill-queue system. Even on KFM your combo works fine, you just have to know the timers of your CCs and know when to finish combos with more cc/knockups)

Standard PvP combo is to make sure the enemy's tab (get out of jail free) is down, and preferably f (retreat). Land a stun or a daze, doesn't matter which. 3 LB F. 3 being Shin Kick (from the Leg Sweep path, it's an extra skill entirely), LB being your main attack, F being Kaiten or Roundhouse or whatever it's called, since I forget it all the time.

Two points in Kaiten, second path, minimum. Three points in Leg Sweep to get Shin Kick.

A standard combo would be Flurry (specced for daze), 3rf spam until the last second of CC, your 4 (forget the name - spec it for Daze), 3rf spam until last second, Tremor, 3rf spam, RB to do an aerial combo at the end. That's your main combo. You have a few others but they're negligible in comparison.

PvE is LB/2/F (F being on crits), mainly. F being Kaiten, again. That's pretty much it. Remember to 3 LB F spam when someone has a mob grappled/held/under stun/daze. Otherwise, just 2 LB F.

I feel like all the other BMs I fight, even if I win, do more damage than I do. Their draw stance combos are way longer, that is.

There's only three skills that could allow them to regenerate enough focus in Blade Stance to spam strong combos, and that's their V in Blade Call mode (the whirling swords around you that recover two focus on hitting enemies). This remains on you even when you switch stances, etc. This could potentially give them a bunch of focus back, but I doubt every BM you fight uses this to its full potential, because a lot straight forget to pop V. The other potential focus recovery option is your RB in draw stance. It costs 3, but recovers 1 on crit. So, maybe they're critting you a bunch. Finally, your 2 in Draw stance can recover 2 focus if you put a point into it, but it's on a long cd.

The other alternative is they're only using flicker (costs 1) and tab (costs 2 - not gonna use more than once) and their 2, and it just seems like it's lasting a long time.

But, honestly, any strong combos in Draw stance will starve you of focus quickly unless you're getting really lucky with RB crits or they're under perfect conditions for spamming. Are they usually doing their Draw stance combos with you locked in Blade Call, or something? Because that could explain the 'doing more damage' part, if you're not.

There's no flowchart ground combo for BM. It's pretty much just weaving numerous ccs inbetween lb/rb mashing, regardless of whether you're in Draw or Blade stance. It's pretty much all dependent on how much focus you have left after whatever you did you initiate the combo.

An example could be 4 LB RB Tab LB 2 (specced for extended cc) E LB LB 3 LB LB LB X LB Q RB RB 3

It's pretty much just knowing what your skills do and knowing not to instantly use all your energy when you can just switch back to normal stance to recover more.

As a Summoner, you'll never, ever experience a 3m range skill being less than 1m range because you and your opponent are both moving, nor having to get in melee range of someone to break a defense. If you're that honestly scared about someone oneshotting your cat, pre-emptively curl it so that it doesn't get raped and just drop your F on people and go ham. Saying it needs good ping, when the only thing that requires any form of ping is mashing a single button, is laughable. The only reason it's not the #1 class for high ping is because Destroyer has two 16m dashes with CCs attached, both of which can be specced to either auto-win CC trades or guarantee combos.

The fact you could only list the other two cancer classes (which your class is a partner of), when there are four other classes you have to go through, means it's a minority in terms of ping requirement. Even in the event that LBM was easier on the ping (it's not, because it's melee, go figure), that still means that out of seven classes, Summoner is the bronze medal for people with high ping.

That is not a class with a good ping requirement.

Tera is theoretically the closest thing to BnS right now, and they just released a patch adding a new class. The patch may not be the greatest, but the class is very fun and you could probably milk a week of enjoyment out of the game if you wanted to try.

I think it's more like: as a support staff you have to deal with a bunch of issues and suddenly you have to police custom profile images.

Instead of dealing with important issues you need to basically sift through these reported profile pictures and use judgement on whether or not they fit some sort of guideline on what's acceptable.

I personally think that profile picture is perfectly fine within the context of Blade & Soul. But I think the issue is that by allowing an avenue for custom profile images to exist, they're basically inviting this extra strain on support because there will always be people who try to push boundaries.

Majority of Australians live in cities or close to them. Even the most rural of areas where people live are pretty tame in terms of wildlife. That won't create any drama at all. It's not because something is present in-game at a very specific moment / case that using something "similar" is acceptable.

If a NPC is swearing, it doesn't give you the licence to swear on public channels. And using "but NPC X used the same words during quest Y" isn't a valid excuse.

The content of the game is something we entirely control. Quantity is a determining factor when it comes to such things. Seeing one character naked at a very specific moment is fairly different from seeing characters naked all the time.

Note that game rating has nothing to do with that. We have our own rules of conduct and Customer Support and/or Forum Moderators will be enforcing these.

I completely understand some people's feeling here when they say that this picture isn't problematic and shouldn't be moderated. Everyone has a different level of what can be considered acceptable or not. And for most of us here, just by being on 4chan usually means that you won't really care about some 2D animu naked butt. We've all seen worse.

But our teams are trained to enforce an established policy (http://us.ncsoft.com/en/legal/user-agreements/blade-and-soul-rules-of-conduct.php). Not to judge things based on what they -personally- consider acceptable or not, that is called professionalism. I had to moderate things during my career that I personally considered acceptable (I pretty much consider almost everything acceptable). I had to terminate accounts of players with over 500+ days of playtime... not a pleasant feeling, still had to be done. While there is always a small part of human decision for inappropriate content cases, rules still have to be enforced.

The above works both ways. If you find yourself wrongfully penalized by one of our Staff (i.e. someone issued you a penalty for content which didn't break our rules), then you can always raise it to me (or someone from Community Team) so we can have a look at the case.

My real problem with it as the person who got banned isn't that I got banned for my animu naked butt, but that the ban system didn't actually tell me why my character was suspended or how long I was suspended for until they responded to the ticket I sent in. I see no world in which this doesn't cause undue stress on the ticket response team, and it is for sure super annoying for the players who got banned.

Well I get distressed when I get ganked doing my pvp dialies. People telling me not to air combo when there are 20 people bashing on a boss causes me distress.
What falls under obscene or harmful language for part 3 of the code of conduct? Why be able to say fuck at all or turn off the word filter off if it's against the rules of conduct.

My point is that the system is trying to look like an objective one, but it's actually still very subjective. I get that it's not really worth the effort into fully defining your code of conduct into proper legal speak or whatever, especially when it's supposed to serve as a guideline for players, but falling back onto it as a safety net saying that you just have to follow these rules isn't really fair.

No, it'll be when HM levels are released, which will happen at the same time BSH and Mushin Tower are released. Which probably won't be longer than a month after launch.

Once HM levels (and the corresponding HM skills) are released, the classes with really strong HM skills (especially FM with its omni-parry being gated there) will technically be buffed. This is probably why they didn't bother altering the balance at level 45 for us - there's just no point when the game is going to fundamentally change within a month of launch.

I think that's probably a little hypocritical, but overall pretty fair and valid. It's up to them to determine what is allowed in public channels. It's also up to them to define it in a clear way which they don't and handle it in a good way which they don't, but that's another issue.

As a counter example, if a villain in the story said 'Hitler was right, Jews and niggers deserve to burn' that doesn't necessarily mean it's ok to spam that in faction chat.
