Not very useful. 2x the skill bonus from regular weapon passives of that element. Two main reasons are that getting a setup for it is far harder as it'll consist of more gacha and 4* event weapons. That and it won't be far better than standard Magna setups due to how damage is calculated and Titan etc. forcing you into pure additive multipliers.

The deals are also pretty good and the game is really fun too.

The fact that the strongest possible setups are achievable by grinding hard instead of whaling hard helps a lot too. You can get good by grinding magnas and the recent magna shop makes everything easier.

Its true that dropping dosh in the game will get you ahead a lot quicker and they do great deals that will make you want to give them your money but everyone has to grind magnas all the same because the endgame setup comes from the grind.

The battles actually depend on you getting good at using your tools and what set-ups you use too instead of RNG/Luck which is really nice.

I'll just also say that the early game farming is very unrewarding simply as it's all leeching. There's no way you're going to be able to meaningfully contribute to Magnas and even event raids for a few weeks (unless you start with Yoda, but even then you won't be able to solo).

Yes you can try and build up to Magnas from Normal/Hard raids, but those have the issue of having shit BP join rates so you'll have issues getting people to join and you might as well spend your own BP poking Magnas. Doesn't help half the elements are a total crapshoot for attack SRs.

I don't think the endless grind is an issue, I mean it's a fucking mobage. But it just sucks early on simply due to how little power you actually have.

And before the GBF mob lynches me, I play the game and enjoy it. But the fact that progress isn't tied to anything you personally do is part of why it feels so shit.

Seven Knights is extremely autobattle. Meaning there is overall very little player input and it's mostly party building that determines success. It is the original Korean mobage that spawned dozens in a similar vein using similar systems. It's generous, but it will give you a feeling of "why am I even playing this every so often".

For a game in similar vein that actually has gameplay, there's Dragon Heroes which is a shmup. It's a decent one, but stats are more a gate than actually playing well. However you do need to actually play well at harder difficulties since the patterns do actually get rather difficult.

One anon wrote up a pretty good guide for MA2 in the op doc, hardest part of MA2 is figuring out symbols for skills but it's easier to just use units and figure out which does what. Qurare is incredibly easy to play without ui, can use inven website for skills and the in game UI is mostly in english anyway. There's also an English patch you can put on it but it has to be re-applied after every update.

Actually, the double element is only true for dark+ light with their 120% summons. For dark 2x mlb Odin and level 100 hatguy on starting team is arguably better than 120/120.

For other elements, the magna +80% is better if you match the elemental weaknesses. 80%+80% is better if you are off element.

I think it's just simple escapism. Describing a fantastic (virtual) fantasy world that characters literally get lost in resonates pretty deeply with fantasy/scifi readers.

The news explicitly stated that you use the event banner to enter it, so yeah. The news ALSO explicitly stated a lot of other things Gumi messed up along the way though, so that's that.

Despite Gumi's best efforts to absolutely sabotage this event, it's actually pretty tame if you've got the shrimp though (or if friend bonuses would fucking work for those without her) and I can see why Sega geared up the necessary points from the second tower event on. All you've really got to do is normally clear all the stages, then activate fever time on some cheap quest, hopefully great fever soon after and then run the 20 AP quest on the final tower to the ground. All of this can pretty much be done in a day or two. What should have been costly and/or time consuming on paper ended up costing me maybe 6-7 Super Stam Fruits and possibly an equal amount of regular fruit over the entirety of the event, with about 2 hours of exploiting Great Fever for the majority of points. I still had some Super Fruits left from Selene, but regular rewards plus compensations probably already added up to 5-6 fruits minimum, so there wasn't even need to buy some extras from ring shop.

No more guild wars, please.

The main case against Lady Grey I can think of is that the Vampy/Narumea combo already has all of that. I don't know the exact values on Narumea's defence debuff, but I'd assume it can reach 25% to cap with enough beads. You also already have Vampy's slow and Narumea's if you're really that desperate.

That said I think she's still good as a debuffer, simply as she opens up Narumea for full DPS and is way more consistent due to no skill prerequisites. It's simply that her competition within dark is way higher than Magisa's as a buffer within fire.

You can maybe argue Lancelot for similar reasons cause water already has so much good shit.

Naru's debuff is dependant on how many beads the enemy has so its not that reliable and if Lady grey has the def break covered then you can use naru's continuous attack buff instead to benefit more from her additional weakness damage on autos.

And Lancelot deals pretty high damage after LB5, his after-ougi effect allows him to land his first nuke twice which is definitely going to hurt.
If you put him in a party with Altair and Silva then you'll definitely be using ougi a lot and shitting damage out of every hole.

She's not exactly broken or MVP on tons of possible teams and that 20 cost feels a bit overblown for lower ranked players for what she's got to offer (I guess those 4 additional points go into her mamurus alone), but some people/whales/vippers really exaggerate on how "bad" she supposedly is, as if everyone had all units at MLB at their disposal. She's probably not really worth it if you had to blow hundreds of rings or stamina fruit to get her, which would better be saved for any future "tower unit" (i.e. Deed v2), but anyone who can get her with moderate efforts might consider doing so and definitely keep her. Super Stam Fruit will expire from now on anyway and regular Stam Fruit basically have no value anymore thanks to Honor Tokens and to a certain degree ring loop, if one could exploit it.
