Played Nostalrius with friends for a month and reached 55 on my mage before having to take a break for real life. Lately I've been playing on a WotLK private server and, having taken a break from that as well, I'm considering doubling down on Nost.
My problem is that there are a lot of legitimate improvements to the game in WotLK that mean less time gets wasted, like the improved AH, fishing / profession leveling, earlier mounts, etc. I'd like to return to Nostalrius because I've never fully experienced vanilla and kind of prefer its aesthetic to WotLK.

are there any addons to make vanilla more convenient? specifically the AH and fishing as I a both a megajew and a comfy fetishist

Lordaeron (where I've been playing) has a decent population, but its peak times are mostly European. They claim to have hit 10k, but lolmolten. That said, you capital cities are about half as crowded as Nost's and you'll regularly encounter other players out in the world.
The only other glaring issue with the server is that gathering nodes are all kinds of fucked, which is actually kind of nice in a way.
