Can I get all weapons, armor, and important items (tools and such) in one run without killing NPCs (don't care if they die of their own volition/questline)? Been playing bloodbourne, I've killed Father, Killed Cleric beast, and I went into old yarhnam but there was this fucking hunter with this mini gun there, I tried to take him on but got rekt a few times, and then I find that you shouldn't take him on from a friend because he can help you? So I've left that area. I farmed up enough souls to open the gate where I found vicar and now I'm pretty close to beating her, I can feel it, is this bitch weak to fire? And is it bad that I'm summoning that chick npc and still getting my head kicked in?

What is the best way to get vials back though? Becuase I'm dying after a boss fight I've used up most of my health items plus my molotovs, and I'm not really sure what I should do. Should I just farm souls over and over until I get some vials and Molotov's back?

And also, where else can I go other than the hunter with the mini gun and the vicar? Is there someone I'm missing out here? Or do I need to kill both before moving on.

She actually did almost kill me with that. I've never had particular trouble with it before but I guess I had just gotten lucky because she would not stop doing this thrust into an explosion attack when I went to heal.

The offset gems slots were a waste of fucking time. Fake depth it is when 99% of all builds run 2 radicals and a triangle. Hell, if all gems were the same shape nobody would bat an eye.

Best way to farm vials at this point is to run through central yharnam from the great bridge to the tomb of oedon

Vicar Amelia is weak to fire and serrated weapons (Saw Weapons and the tricked threaded cane are a few examples). Those weaknesses can stack too so use fire paper on her if you got any

An easy way to get bullets and vials early on is to start at the central Yharnam lantern and run through the whole area again, skipping the sewers if you'd like. Kill the roaming townspeople, ones with guns always drop bullets and melee people have a chance for vials. The big Frankensteiner brickmen have a high chance to drop vials, 4 a pop. And the nearly transformed wolfmen also drop 4 vials. You should be a at a higher level that it's not that hard and if you just don't spam vials on your run you'll hit 20+ by the time you reach the chapel.

Don't feel bad about dying to Cleric, she can be tough for some people. The Gatling gun guy can be talked to if you don't kill him, It involves killing the area boss beyond him, then spawning at the lantern that shows up and making your way to the gatling gun guy without killing a single beast.

Trick weapons harden my penis almost every time I utilize an attack, or pop a trick before a boss.

Dashing and rally makes it a lot more frenetic and visceral. I adore the aesthetic and the Eldritch shit. Dat tonal shift after getting snatchered, all the chanting and finally coming across that statue.

Weapons were very interesting and enjoyable pre-DLC but there weren't enough to justify a lot of replay for me or builds. DLC changed that. Notorious G.E.H is possibly my favorite fight, DLC making Ludwig a good case though. Music's great on some bosses. Arcane after the fixes became my favorite magic system.

It's weaker in some aspects to DS1 and DeS, but in others it stomps it. Just personal preference and possibly my love for Character Action games making me be into the whole feel of it.

Unfortunately you can really cheese him by just mashing R1. He will collapse and get not chance to regenerate if you stay aggressive.

That's personally why i liked him and Amelia at first because i thought it was nice to be able to easily beat a boss if you know the secret to beating them.

Then i fought Ludwig, who has various safe spots at his body but still puts up a fight, so now i think that Paarl and Amelia are actually badly designed because it's not like they just become easier if you fight them the efficient way. They straight up can't fight back.

this is what i use for beastclaws/mlgs builds. this build works because those weapons are quality weapons. if you check the bloodborne calculator you actually gain more damage for these weapons by putting points into skill. also it gives you nice parry damage. i would probably make a separate character for the wheel since it has a s scaling for strength which you probably want 50 for it. enjoy.

it's hard to tell for some reason but if you die to something making the first thing glowy-eyed and then die to something else, do your echoes stay with the first thing?
i.e., have a shitload of echoes right before a boss fight so you go die to some easy-peasy enemy in Central or something, do the fight, die as many times as you want and then come back and retrieve your echoes

Anyone else encountering this weird bug in the DLC where if you parry something sometimes you'll just clip through it?

Happened a few times already and i just died to Living Failures because i parried one, wanted to visceral attack it and just clipped through it performing a R1 instead, and got hit by a projectile

I had an epiphany today on a playthrough.
The lorenote when you first reach Oedon Chapel mentions "The Byrgenwerth spider hides all manner of rituals, and keeps our lost master from us. A terrible shame. It makes my head shudder uncontrollably."
In japanese, there's a pun between the worlds cloud and spider, because they're both read the same way. It doesn't translate over into english, but basically that note talking about the byrgenwerth spider isn't clear whether it's talking about a spider or a cloud.

Do you get it? Clouds block our view and hide the moon from sight, just like Rom hides the Mensis ritual. It also confirms that when they're talking about a lost master, they're referring to the Moon Presence.
