The 1AP ones that appear daily, each day has higher HP reward than the last so you missed out on the lower rewarding ones with big ones coming up. Just do those with as high % as you can while doing whatever 40AP you want otherwise (or 20AP for bowls 10AP for teapots if you need those).

Then check how far you are with your progress during last couple days and spam 40AP if you feel like you'll make your goals

What is the absolute best 4* servant for each class?

I've not played since before the gil event, (I logged in to 150+ Quartz, and 50 apples, which I had to look up) due to memory issues with my old phone, where the game would delete itself with my data after I tried a reinstall, and I didn't trust it enough to rebind my account to it, but just got a new phone. besides the events, which I've done some reading on, at least the current one, what have I missed?

Nobu is arguable, Atalanta is a god-tier crit generator.

Marie probably isn't as good as Sluts unless you have an immortal team with something like Jeanne and Tamamo/Medea Lily.

Herc and Lancelot is probably a tie. Lancelot has higher potential damage but is made of fucking glass, even for a Berserker.

In an art team, Medea will be more useful because she will not be the main damage dealer, ideally that would be someone like Vlad, she will heal that damage dealer in order for him to continue making insane daage as long as he can. Caster Liz is only more useful if you have someone that can make use of the stars, or you can just stick Bazett Ce into them.

In arts teams, people who have three arts cards and can do damage are far more useful.
There are no triple arts cards in the game that outdamage Liz.
Your standard arts team is two people with meh damage and one with great damage, and Liz is the best choice for 9 arts NP spam mayhem.
Waver, Tamamo, Jeanne, Marie, Emiya, Martha, Medea, all are outdamaged.
And even as a support, she generates others NPs as fast as Medea, and can lead an NP chain with Vlad with a Buster, and then supplement his 20 plus stars from that with her own.
Medea Lily is only better in Anderson, Jeanne or David teams for invincibility.

One you will want in any team you make, be it wit Waver, Tamamo, Jeanne, Marie, Emiya, Martha or Medea, she will make wonders with all of them.
The main difference between Lily and Liz is that one has a defensive role as a healer and the other has an offensive set-up with a Buster NP and star generation. And none of the ideal partners for Liz or Lily have three arts, in a balanced team you need at least one servant with two busters, basing on that servants like Nobu or Gil are perfect for Liz while servants like Vlad are perfect for Lily, with others like Saber can fit with any of them without problem.

Lily can heal him, when he's already the single hardest to kill Berserker in the game already, while Liz can boost his NP chain and turn 20 plus stars into thirty plus stars.
Lily can fit into any team as a healer, and dedicate healers are rare, but in this game healing isnt as important as damage and crit generation.

The amount healed by medea lily is significantly higher than jannu.
Additional bonus is that medea lily can np heal straight away and has debuff removal. This is on top of making other servants and master heal even better.

Medea lily may suck due to the current content being bbc-able but shes in no way bad

The stun can fail and is a single-turn single-target skill, it's really not that useful, but yes, it's her most useful spell.
The 1.1 attack multiplier means jackshit, jeanne deals no damage, literally any of her cards you use her is only good to generate stars or NP bar, because jeanne does pitiful damage even compared to decent 4 stars.
Tanks serve no purpose in this game if they don't have a taunt skill, which jeanne doesn't have.

Probably jeanne can be good only if you coordinate a double jeanne arts team to keep her NPs up 100% of the time.
