Has anyone heard of this new "super maint" idea? I for one think it's pretty ingenious.

After all, what maintains maint? That's where super maint comes in. It would be a z-level situated "below" the normal station (Think hyperia) and only accessible from certain hatches in normal maint. And it's like maint but so much maintier: dark, inaccessible and dangerous. Hidden catches scattered around. Lost mechanical rooms. Secret passages. And we could even keep the current maint we have on the normal Z-level.

Vaults used for dangerous, illicit science experiments. Even the occasional xenos. It could even be procedurally generated easily, since it wouldn't intersect with departments. What's not to like about super maint?

So what do you think about the next generation of maint?

to get the gateway working, first remember to make sure the map is also being compiled along with the station, you will also want to modify the list inside the awaymission folder to include a direct reference to the dmm, make sure it is uncommented.
Then when the serb boots, VV the gateways center and change wait to 1 or something like that so it works instantly.
Alternatively just use the jump command and teleport there.
Fun fact, most if not all your genetic abilities won't work on that zlevel, try out superjump for example. One of those sanity checks is ironically insane.

Also ensure there is a gateway on the other side using the centeraway piece or whatever it's labeled, not the station one.
I asked for months how to get away missions working, not a single person told me, fuck the lot of you.

Some dumb shit happened last round. I'm a traitor and I tell the AI to play an emagged arcade machine for me, and tell him not to tell anyone. For those of you who don't know, anyone who loses at an emagged arcade machine is gibbed, including the AI.

The AI plays it until he gets to 1 HP then stops playing and calls a borg, then calls security to arrest me, despite being ordered not to do so. I was not harming any humans, still just sitting by the arcade machine.

I adminhelp and Nuklearcellphoneg responds after a bit. According to him, the AI was justified in not following the order, because:

If no one was harmed, and he still called security on him after a law 2 not to tell security, then he completely should be banned.

However, I think the command to basically commit suicide is up to the silicon player. If they chose to obey that, cool. I could never condone that being an end-all be-all ruling, however, because that would lead to a far too cheap and easy tactic for traitors or Nuke Ops.

It's the same as asking an admin if you can do something, being told you can, then getting banned for doing what he said.
You're not wrong, the official statement says you're right. In the event of incorrect legal advice from an official source such as a formal statement from a bar-approved lawyer or police officer, the violator is protected if their council is incorrect.

If the wiki justifies an action explicitly that admins deem a rule violation, there is no valid argument available that will place the blame on the player. He has simply done what official pomfstation documentation has told him is acceptable.
It is then up to the administrative team to determine if the admin is wrong, or if the wiki needs a rewrite.

What if there was an option you could set on your character that let people know when they examine you if they want to participate in your antagging or not?

That way people looking for a fight get one and people who just want to roleplay with their departments don't!
