The first round officially starts next Monday so get your family together and sign up on the steam page. We have some good teams signed up so far. VulcanHDgaming will be casting a decent amount of matches if that sweetens the pot, and if that doesn't then maybe the mystery prizes will.

I will be posting the coming week's map list on Friday if anyone wants to get going early and play some matches this weekend.
>>124088505
There are a couple solo players signed up. Did you try PMing any of them? I will help them form up into groups sometime Friday. If you don't want to do that then just sign up your 2 man team in the team thread and I will try to get a solo player to join you.

Basically, if you have a two man team it will be a lot easier to find a third if you make yourselves public in the thread.

Good luck!

It's pretty early in development and gets updates often(Infact it got one a few days ago.). I don't really get the halfway finished mod thing. Personally I think the balance is already worlds better than AS2 even with some of the vehicle and support unit pricing issues. Pretty refreshing to not have cheap autocannon crutches everywhere shitting up the pacing of the game and no cloaking bullshit so you have to actually use terrain to sneak shit around.

I bought the Wargame bundle, is there any reason why I should play EE and Airland over RD?
>>
>>124146210
Because EE is by far the superior game. The sequels are gimmicky, and RD is the damage control of trying to bring things back to EE despite being bloated with all of ALB's problems cranked up to 11. Multiplayer is pretty meh in RD anyway, so the small numbers in EE aren't a big deal. Multiplayer was never Wargame's strong point anyway.

3rd map is in progress.
After finishing off the 7th Armoured Brigade, 9. Panzerdivision moves on to Verden, an important river junction where the Aller splits off from the Weser river, just south of Bremen.

5. Armee has consistently supported 2nd Guards Tank Army and 3rd Combined Arms Army in their drive towards the ports at Bremen. They are now reaching the outer limits of the city in record time, thanks in part to the supporting East German unit.
However, NORTHAG's only American unit, the lone 3rd Brigade, 2nd Armor Division has managed quite troublesome. Fighting a long retreat over dozens of kilometers into Germany, they have finally ground the 10th Guards Tank Division to a halt.
However, the second echelon in 12 Guards Tank Division is now pressing it's attack, supported by elements of the further south 47th Tank Division. These units are all now converging on Bremen for one final showdown that will determine NATO's ability to land reinforcements in northern Germany. However, the battle is destined to rapidly transform into an urban hell. Worse still, the West German 11th Panzergrenadierdivision has moved south to outflank the 3rd Red Banner elements from the south, and the American 5th Infantry Division has crossed the dutch border to attempt to hold Bremen for only a while longer.

5. Armee is now tasked with ensuring that the Soviet attack goes as planned. At this rate however, the Panzergrenadiers will have crossed the Weser before they can arrive. All that stands between the West Germans and Soviet flank is East Germany's elite Fallschirmjäger Battaillon-40. Landing a full day earlier, their objective was to eliminate NATO nuclear delivery means in the vicinity, however their task now is to hold the bridges at Verden until 5. Armee can relieve them.

It doesn't fly nearly the same as a normal helicopter. With the autopilot modes activated (as they should be), your trimmer controls pitch and roll directly, not the rotors. Want to fly forward? Put the helicopter into the desired pitch, adjust collective, and pull the trim-lever. It will automatically maintain that pitch.

I will be posting the matchmaking thread on the steam group later today, and as long as you can get one win by the 19th then you are fine.

Good luck family!

Would assume no missiles from after dissolution of the soviet union.

Technically AIM-120C should still be allowed, since it was delivered to operational units in September 1991, while Gorbachev resigned the day after Christmas.

BMS is super good. It's a shame that getting the stupid thing set up is such a roadblock to new players. If there's anything that shows BMS's age, it's that it's from an era where spending a week getting your sim running was just the accepted norm.

The crazy thing is that BMS is stupid simple to set up and install these days compared to what it used to be. Just INSTALLING the damn thing was literally a whole day affair. The "patch dance" as we used to call it.

What are the different colors in the roads for?
>>
>>124215909
Orange doubles = Autobahnen, marked by white on blue signs. In Flashpoint they are assigned as "Highway" hexes, offering the least amount of cover (10%) for any terrain in the game. The tradeoff of course is that they offer the fastest movement (80% + road status). So the general idea is that they're great for logistics (Thus making them important objectives in every scenario), but in combat they're death zones.
Yellows = National Roads, marked by black on yellow rectangular signs
Greys = Landesstraße (Or country roads), and Kreisstraße (District Roads). Typically marked by white-on-black or black-on-white signs.

Not all roads are covered; only ones the devs refer to as "suitable for tanks".

Is Call to Arms really good? I've been looking at it a little bit and I might get it. How's the multiplayer scene?
>>
>>124230051
If you go in acknowledging that it's a game in early development, it's pretty outstanding. Some units need minor work in certain places(Mostly just in pricing), but it's not enough to disrupt multiplayer at all from my experience. I generally have little trouble finding a match and I do 1v1, arguably the least popular mode; And find people with enough frequency that I regularly stream it.

If you're coming from Assault Squad, it's a fairly painless transition. In fact, you might fall in love with the generally much better infantry play and less reliance in general on vehicles being crutches like they are in assault squad instead of what they ought to be: Support tools.

Stuff is still rough around the edges, but overall I have to kind of drag myself to pick up AS2 now. The infantry play is just too improved in CtA for me to really enjoy AS2 anymore, and though the vehicles are somewhat nerfed by pricing, they're a shitload more satisfying to use.
>>
>>124230532
Thanks. That was all I needed, I'll pick it up next time it's on sale.

Don't know if this is a suitable general for it, but...

I've been trying to play Commandos 3 for days, but since I'm using Win10, I'm fucked as it won't let me install Legacy Components such as NT framework 3.5 or DirectX5/"DirectPlay".
The game's Steam page says that it isn't compatible with Win10 at all, and recommended to run the game on a Windows XP Virtualbox.

So I did it (installed the gog version on Virtualbox running WXP) , but all I got was "commandos3.exe has encountered a problem " when running it... Tried on a Win7 VM, same problem.

I finally got it working when I installed it with Wine on Linux, but there the game is a glitchfest and crashes if I try to use any of the high-res patches.

Is there any way I can play it on Windows 10, even on a VM with the right settings?

You have one in FC3. The clickable shit only effects the user personally. No one else actually cares what variant you are flying.

>Comparing the A-10C to the A-10A
The A-10A can't even employ precision guided munitions other than the AGM-65, stabilize it's gun on the ground to do effective anti-armor with it or use all that advanced nav equipment, datalink and TGP which make the C variant so useful. They might fly the same but the avionics in both have enough differences to not only effect in user personality.

>Mig-21
Kinda agree with the Mig-21 being a bitch to fly solo, but it's actually manageable if you do it with a wingman or two against even modern threats

>Choppers
>literally nothing
There used to be good missions for the KA-50, I wonder where those went. I remember flying a mission where you'd need to go into a valley to pop some insurgents with 3 or 4 other people once.

Kinda agree with the WWII planes and the Mig-15 and sabre tho. They're just outright boring at the moment, not enough unit variety in that time period to really justify doing anything in them.
>>
>>124252868
The A-10A actually does have gun stabilization when you pull the trigger, but it's not a separate trigger pull like the A-10C. All the rest of what you said is right. The A-10A is a lot less capable than the A-10C.

Freaky. I had a dream last night I played a remake of an Ace Combat mission in DCS and was even thinking about how you would go about designing such a thing to adapt it into DCS and still be fun. I don't think it would be too difficult to adapt AC style missions into DCS, as long as you design them with DCS in mind and use some simple script functions.

The hardest part of making a fun DCS/Ace Combat crossover is the voices. I don't know how you would do that, but a lot of the charm of Ace Combat is the radio chatter and DCS has none of that.

It's worth knowing how to plan your own missions in BMS because the AI that creates missions isn't particularly smart. They'll give you weird loadouts for a mission and/or have you overfly tons of SAM sites to strike some factory way behind enemy lines.

Don't stress out about following whatever mission gets generated, and the same goes for the mission results screen which is really harsh because you could end up taking a whole airfield out of commission but if you didn't blow up that one crane they wanted you to blow up they call the mission a failure.

You're welcome to not play it if it ends up being good. It doesn't matter anyway, the game won't sell enough to recoup its costs and it'll be the final straw that breaks the franchise and finally kills it for good. The series never seemed like it sold well, with only a vocal minority of dedicated fans (myself included) even really liking the game.

I figured Infinity was going to be the last one because the F2P bullshit just wreaks of desperation in trying to save a franchise that isn't profitable anymore.

Oh please. AC5 main character's point of view was biased as fuck towards the murikan stand in - it even had the kraut stand in getting imposed unequal as fuck terms (in the prequel) and the dumbfuck protagonists wondering why would they want revenge for that. The games are so anti-nukes/superweapons it hurts (nothing out of the ordinary) but the pro disarmament message they try to convey comes across as "not having MAD sucks" - and even fucking kids can get that.

And you know what's the best part about it? Practically every game that has some resemblance of a plot is like that, the only exception being AC3 JP which is about corporations protecting their own interests.

>it's good fun
The AI is completely braindead and that gets boring pretty quickly. That applies to practically all of the games, (some) bosses excluded, and even those are far from being a genuine challenge.

Not him, but complaining about AI in an Ace Combat game is dumb as fuck. If you go in expecting some shit like Over-G fighters or DCS but on a console, then you're an idiot. Ace combat isn't about '2deep4u' plots or nationalist circlejerking. It's just dumb, casual fun in a theme that not many games touch. Plenty of action, great music, lots of speed, lots of toys to fuck around with, ridiculous boss battles against unrealistic bullshit that's cool to look at. That's Ace Combat. Want to know what happened when Bamco tried to appeal to people like you? Assault horizon.

If you only care about 'muh realism', then what do you give a shit about Ace Combat for? No one is implying it's the best game ever or something, but it IS fun as shit and a great couch game with just the right balance of challenge and casual play. Not every game about flight needs to require hours of reading, head tracking, and a 200 dollar HOTAS just to play with 3 other people on some laggy server.

>complaining about AI in an Ace Combat game is dumb as fuck
It's a completely legitimate complaint since the AI in the first 3 games is better than what you get in everything that game after that. See: mooks in AC from 4 onwards don't even try to dodge XMAAs. And the cause of that is the missiles' tracking algorithms that are made so that missiles can be dodged even if you're a completely drunk overworked salaryman - if the AI was half decent it would be hard to score missiles hits on them - which would be totally fine by me, even if it was an additional difficulty mode (which exists, but only as paid DLC in ONE game, and before you say that the "Ace" mode from 04/5/Z is that, all it does it make you take more damage, it doesn't change the AI behavior).

>Ace combat isn't about '2deep4u' plots
They tried something like that once and it was nice at the very least, despite being heavily influenced by GITS.

>nationalist circlejerking
It has that too. Just not in the form you're used to.

>Want to know what happened when Bamco tried to appeal to people like you? Assault horizon.
>If you only care about 'muh realism', then what do you give a shit about Ace Combat for?
Why would a IL-2/DCS player want something like Assault Horizon? Why would you say something stupid like that and then type a rant about reading manuals and headtracking? If anything Assault Horizon is something that catered to the average casual fuck (the majority of Ace Combat's playerbase), and if the setting, DFM and the sales numbers aren't the proof of that then what is?

>Over-G fighters
Now that's a good console casual flight sim. That and Aero Elite Combat Academy.

Also, Assault Horizon definitely wasn't for Ace Combat fans. It was for you retards that wanted 'realism' in a franchise that is largely the opposite of it. For morons that can't separate LOMAC from other flight experiences and needed their airsofter autism assuaged by taking everything interesting about Ace Combat and trying to replace it with real world crap. The fact that they didn't actually get the LOMAC crowd anyone illustrates how stupid Bamco is and how much they generally hate money.

They could have just kept doing the same thing every 2-3 years, and just worked on new features and Ace Combat would still be succesful. There will always be a market for it because no one else does it. Infinity would have made an outstanding game if it wasn't a F2P.

I think you're heavily out of touch with why people like Ace Combat.

My main gripe about Over G is how low its replay value is. If only they had a half proper mission editor (this also applies to Aero Elite, but to a much lesser extent). But then again, you can see that Over G is kind of half assed since it retains a lot of content that comes from Energy Airforce, like a fuckton of assets such as 3d models, and bugs like the gunsights not working.

And it's not that I don't get why people like AC either, it's that its formula became really fucking stale and all of the attempts that they made in order to improve it resulted in trainwrecks.

>>124309441
>Every enemy plane should be the red baron and dodge 20 missiles
I never said that. All I said is that the AI should at least try to dodge missiles, especially if fired a complete trash angles. It happened a lot in AC1/2/3.

>In a game where you're often pitted against 30-40+ aircraft
That's another thing that bothers me about AC. Their way of "improving" gameplay was basically bloating the fuck out of missions by adding operations: in some missions that was actually kind of neat, but in most of them there were ops that were aways plain detrimental. And adding a "bleed energy" button (high G mode) which was mostly useless.

>It was for you retards that wanted 'realism' in a franchise that is largely the opposite of it
I already said it once, I'll say it again: saying that that simfag are the kind of people is the cause of Assault Horizon is abo tier.
1: the vast majority of simfags couldn't care less about playing Ace Combat, or AC in general.
2: simfags don't like being railroaded, or infinite ammo, and features like regeneration health.
Assault Horizon was made with the CoD audience in mind first and foremost.
And feel free to fuck off back to /aceg/ or ACS or whatever shithole you come from.

>Arena mode on Over-G
>not the most fun thing you could burn hundreds of hours on

Bruh.
>>
>>124316153
All the replay value came in the Arena mode and unlocking planes from it. It was really fun to just pick a random plane and make up a sortie against any target of opportunity. There were ships out there, a carrier to land on, special planes to shoot down like the SR-71, and all kinds of awesome.

It was super fun. Like I said before, I wish somebody would make a game like Over G again.
>>
>>124316524
>>124316653
But almost nobody played online Arena. Single player Arena was really fucking noice but it had the fault of having only one map and you can get excitement for spotting WW2 battleships only so many times. I fucking wish Over G had a mission editor and dynamic campaigns, both offline and online, both competitive and cooperative.

Requirements:

>relied on by players to the point that their tactics break down without it

Well for DCS level shit it would only be near possible because DCS relies on real life detail to give the aircraft.

What you could get (with a huge budget of course) is something with pseudo-realistic aircraft that violate all sorts of physics but follow paths of logic so that there is balance between different craft and feel realistic, which is what you really want to aim for, a feeling of realism.

With your fantasy universe the possibilities for monstrous airships is unlimited but sadly will never come to be because fuck you, this shit battlefront game gets funding instead.

I can get behind that approach, but why the need for a huge budget? An alternative I could thing of is basing the fictional aircraft's performance on real aircraft but tweaking it enough for making so that the fictional aircraft don't behave exactly like reskinned actual aircraft.

>With your fantasy universe the possibilities for monstrous airships is unlimited
Funfact: IIRC both the novel and the OVA heavily imply that the stuff designed to be used exclusively on Faery (mind you, that was only for political reasons, completely understandable too as the world was going through yet another fucking cold war) had even better performance on Earth.

It would require a huge budget depending on how polished the different aircraft would need to be, and could be really expensive with some high fantasy stuff.

I don't know about that anime though, a google image search just shows some regular planes modified a little bit compared to the original image posted with the nazi fortress.

God, this fucking movie.

You know what pisses me off about that scene? No, It's not the sudden drop of any forward momentum or violent rape of physics, or the utter impossibility of a prop aircraft maneuvering like that. It's that even if a prop could do such a move with a sudden magical burst of prop torque, a Mustang would perform it to the right, not to the left, because Merlin/Packard engines turn clockwise.

When it was announced I was so excited for it to come out, because hell yeah WW2 air combat movie with modern tech, until I saw that it was directed by George Lucas.

At least there's always the 1995 film.

Considering you can get the maps practically for free here: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=3969482 (although you'll need to tinker with the map values in the editor)
And the scenarios themselves are nothing special, no. Not really, it's there for nostalgiafags who played 2005's Flash point Germany.

Pic related: Custom faction, custom units, custom map, custom scenario all done by me for free. DLC won't be worth it unless you're A) a lazy fuck, or B) it has engine changes that you can't change with a spreadsheet

BMP-3 is the most useful, due to 2800m arkans and the 2450m cannon. For East Germany though, I do have a special place in my heart for the BMP-2 and BMP-2D.

What if all "Line inf" were converted to "Mech Inf", ie. Mot Schutzen and the 15 point Panzergrens?
Decent rifle, good RPGs, and CQC MGs allow them to be semi-mobile tank support. Of course, they still lose to Shock inf and SF one-on-one, so keeping them tied to their FSVs is a good strategy.

Cheap recon inf and reservists are still around for the "gap plugger" role.

Isn't that how Hinds actually work IRL? They're designed to do attack runs like CAS airplanes instead of hovering in place and firing guided missiles like Apaches.

I even read somewhere that Hinds can't hover at all when they're fully loaded and they have to use a runway to take off.

>>124480175
they're somewhat capable of hovering, but they're very clumsy at that. Operationally, they're intended to do strafes. Most helicopters are designed to use runways as well, since transitioning from rotorwash lift to clean air lift (when you're at a decent horizontal velocity) is much more stable than hover.

I'm not very good and want to learn.

First question is how do I deal with arty spam? I mostly onky play motor and mech and so many times I can't even put my units to the front because they are immediately pounded into oblivion by mortars and rockets.

How do I handle that?

>>
>>124493847
Arty gets more powerful as the concentration of forces goes up. Avoid large games (10vs10) and maps with way too many people packed into it (such as Bloody Ridge 4v4). Instead of just pushing one area, try to keep a presence all over the map and probe as much as you can. When you do need to concentrate your forces, don't keep all the AA or tanks together and form them into smaller groups. It may be micro intensive, but every single time your AA fires, and just whenever you feel like it has been spotted, make sure to move it a few hundred meters so it doesn't get popped by mortars or precision aim howitzers.

Most coalitons can pull off good armored deck, the best is probably either NORAD, Eurocorps, or SOVKOR.

SOVKOR
>Strongest heavy lineup
>excellent supporting AA and arty
>weak as fuck infantry
Eurocorps
>Weakest heavy tank linup
>Much stronger medium and cheap tanks
>Weaker AA lineup
>By far best infantry lineup for an armored deck
NORAD
>Midway between SOVKOR and Eurocorps in heavy tanks
>Also has very strong medium and cheap tanks
>Pretty good AA lineup
>Infantry are slightly better than SOVKOR

If you are playing lane warfare in a 10vs10, then the key units are always heavy tanks. Get as many of them on the field as you can reasonably micro and use them as the core of your doctrine. Excluding ATGM planes, it should take AT LEAST 300pts equivalent of units to kill your average M1A2/T-90/Leo2A5, and that number goes up the more of them you have. Spam fire support and medium tanks as a meatshield to kill support units, and above all protect the heavy tanks.

The AJS is what is mentioned, it is the ground attack version so sidewinders only.

The interceptor JA-37 on the other hand can carry Skyflash, and even aim-120s when upgraded.

Despite repeated attempts, and with an artillery battalion in support, I could not successfully make an opposed crossing of the river. The West Germans almost always slaughtered the East Germans while taking few casualties in return, and by the end their Company would maybe be at 50% strength to the East German Battalion being annihilated.

Of course, change their places however and it's even more lopsided, this time in favor of the East Germans.
>>
>>124544165
Yes, it had the same radar as the earlier recon version SH 37.
No idea how it works or if it can track air targets though.

>forced river crossing

What this should be telling you is that trying to cross a river while under fire from an entrenched enemy ends badly, not that this one tactical condition is representative of Flashpoint as a whole.
>>
>>124549446
No.

I eventually just switched tactics and figured that focusing the arty and units on one side was better than attempting a front-wide engagement.
The East Germans crossed the river, dug out the arty-stunned infantry, and held against the counter attack when the West Germans figured out what was going on.

I've nailed down my choice for map 4 to three areas:

In 8. MSD's sector, Vechta. Vechta itself isn't very strategically important, but the stage is set for a meeting engagement against a well equipped and well supported division(-), the US 5th Infantry. Not too far to the north of Vechta, yet outside of the Army Boundary, is Ahlhorn, a critical airbase guarded by old Nike SAMs, where a lot of US air, namely A-10s are stationed. Scenario may involve holding off US air attacks while the FROG-7s arm themselves to take out that airbase.

In 9. Panzerdivision's (Campaign core unit) sector, Diepholz. There's a Fliegerhorst (Airbase) here that will be useful when captured. Once again, will encounter the same heavily supported Americans, only there's one centralized objective instead of a general field battle.

In 19. MSD's sector, Bramsche. Here, the Autobahn-1 crosses the Mittellandkanal, an important waterway linking several German rivers and continuing into Eastern Europe. This time, it's an assault against dug-in elements of the BAOR's 12th Armour Brigade, a sister unit to the 7th Armour Brigade which you fight in the second scenario.

Pick a battlefield, Kommadant.

Given that Soviet tanks couldn't frontally penetrate their western contemporaries beyond 2000m, what if they all just lobbed HE shells in a pseudo-artillery bombardment until they closed in? Their tank's HE shells have roughly the same blast as a 122mm howitzer's shell, right?

More fun.

The americans thought the USSR had several thousand less tanks than what they really did.
By 1985 the USSR has more than 12000 T-64 tanks, though upgrades from T-64A to T-64B continued for 2 more years.
>>
>>124591392

The USSR was already on the decline in the 80's, I'd love to know what the figures were like for the 50's and 60's during their zenith. The T-55 was the most mass-produced tank in human history, the Mig-21 the most mass-produced jet.

I believe they produced 10,000 T-54B per year at their highest rate of production. Then switched to upgrade mode and low level production when the T-55 was made.
Think they had some 40,000 T-54 and 55 tanks when the T-62 was made. But continued to produce them for another 20 years or so, at a lower level and also licensed them to Poland and other countries for building.

I also think they upgraded nearly 10,000 T-62 and T-55 to the AM versions during the 1980s, upgraded versions were very common in the second half of the Afghanistan war.

Have some T-54 Ammo.

Well by 1983, the soviet union had out produced the entire NATO in terms of older tank designs by quite a margin, not sure exactly what the year by year production of most of the NATO countries were, but Germany could manage around 400 Leopard 2s a year. So assuming that their Leopard 1 production was 3 times higher, it would still be only a tenth of the soviet production.

Obsolete NATO tanks include Leopard 1, AMX-30 and Patton tanks, while the interim is tanks are chieftan tanks, and modern designs are Leopard 2, Abrams and Challenger.

Pre 1980s force ratios.
It's interesting to note that a large amount of the NATO forces in the cold war, was unmechanized standard infantry, with little more than Mortars for support.

While even the most basic soviet infantry regiment had it's own 152mm heavy artillery and tank company.

Part from autistic levels of OOB organization it is pretty nifty as far as i can tell. I personally like having actual control over my units and not let the AI do it, but if you have 900 soviet divisions it gets a bit tedious having to connect them all to corps then armies etc, especially when in a game with actual people doing PVP without pausing.

Also Hoi4 has super nice proxy war system.

EvW wanted to completely change the game to be something else than Hoi, i would try to be more minimalistic, firstly i would be able to release a mod much sooner, secondly, all the feature updates for Hoi4 would be directly benificial to a mod if it actually stays true to the base game in terms of features.

Besides, apart from the resource management that i never payed attention to, because 9999999 of every resource most of the time except oil, was kinda silly anyway.
And i am not sure there isn't resources, i am pretty sure there is actually, but that it doesn't show in your top UI.

Have you guys actually looked into Hoi4 development?

Flashpoint Anon here, thanks.
136 T-72M1 leaves East Germany only able to equip about one regiment (+ Indpt. Panzer Bn) of T-72M1, or, more likely, they spread them out over the Division's battalions, in a ratio of 10 T-72M1 to 20 T-72M/ÜV or 13 T-72M1 to 26 T-72M/ÜV.
>>
>>124609176

looks like 2 cluster 270's
>>
>>124616215
http://www.relikte.com/_basis/docs/nva-2.pdf

So it's probably a full T-72M1 Regiment belonging to 9. Panzerdivision (Likely Panzerregiment 23), whereas 7. Panzerdivision equips two Battalions in Panzerregiment 16

Alternatively, 9. Panzer Division retains a 10 T-72M1/20 T-72M ratio in all their Panzer Regiments.

There were a number of losses of AJ 37s in 1974 and 1975 due to wing spar failures. As it turned out, the first 27 machines had been built with lighter wing spars, and so the 21 survivors were rebuilt with stronger spars. Oddly, though the Viggen was easier to fly than the Draken, the Viggen's accident rate was higher. One interesting accident took place on 28 September 1982, when a pilot was taking off from Norrkoeping and suddenly encountered a herd of elk that had wandered onto the runway.

Should i buy a Saitek x45 for DCS world, someone is selling it for about 30$ or shoild i get something other?
>>

Well if it works it's certainly worth $30.
>>

Thanks, ill get it in a few days,if its not in a good condition i could get it cheaper and try to fix it up
>>
>>124648084
I mean obviously you'll want something a bit better at some point, but for that price I reckon it'd be a decent starter stick. Use any extra money you would have spend on a more expensive stick to get some cheap head tracking like delanclip.

That's been a long requested feature, and ED basically doesn't give a shit.

It was just released and its NTTR its not supposed to be a hot combat zone.

I assume ED doesn't have the engine tech that would allow people to place them in an editor but they could at least add some to the map permanently for the NTTR map.

That is what I meant, I think it would be a bit silly to just plop down a full on airbase wherever you want, perhaps maybe just define an area of road as a runway with some hardened bunkers to the side or something

T-64 stabs in WG:RD looks pretty accurate judging by that document.

Accuracy given is at max range, which is 2100 for most T-64 variants. Accuracy is for max range, or 2100 for T-64 base.

Accuracy at 2000 meters on that doc is 22% against a tank front, while in-game T-64 has 20%. Pretty much dead on.

Hey man, we didn't have our shit together because one of us was afk until the game started.

We also tried to split roles by me taking over areas with meat grinders, another guy with recon and jet, and another with tanks.

We're too retarded for that so we'll probably just go with one person controlling a certain area and being able to fulfill all of his own needs.

It's not longer a pain to refill ammo on anything, they automatically do it.

I've learned to just kind of filter out the opinions and memes of the /v/ community. They have a way of ruining everything. It could be the best game in existence and they'd find a way to tear it down in your mind if you pay too much attention to them.

Especially since everyone is going maximum edge-lord lately, and try-harding over the whole 'SJW' paranoia.
>>
>>124676560
>I've learned to just kind of filter out the opinions and memes of the /v/ community

makes all games a lot nicer
>>
>>124675632
Well I was playing MOWAS2 recently, and they automatically refilled from supply trucks and crates, which are a bit rare so they still run out pretty quick. What I would like is for there to be auto refill from enemy corpses, which are way more common.

Unless I'm wrong? I'm a casual fuck who has only been playing skirmish and SirHinkel, but that's what it seemed to be.

No, you're right. Call to Arms kinda addresse sthis shit by having supply points at every cap zone. Which is good because the nature of the weapons means that units dump a lot more ammo than in AS2.
