Attempting to fast travel to Castle will often crash my game to desktop. Attempting to save while in Castle will also crash the game. I don't think I fucked up that hard with going over my size budget but apparently I did. I've long stopped building in it and it only suddenly started doing this.

well, I don't really know where the fucking wiki gets their info, but a monoseason is a pretty common trope for a post-apocalypse setting.

That being said there should be plants, and there should be shades of green. toning down the intensity of mods like A Touch of Green would be a somewhat better visual for the eternal summer flora landscape.

I agree I am level 35ish on survival and I haven't worn a helmet in like ten levels. I basically only use the Minutemen General outfit.

I also have great artillery coverage and took the explosives perks solely because I love bombarding raider camps. Bonus points if I can take a vertibird with them.

I meant, I found new stuff the last few times I made/changed a character. Most stuff has two/three different places that you can tweak (jaw bone, cheek bone) that can change the look of a character. The only thing I'll say is that you should try some of the eyeliner options after you're done, it makes a big difference for eyes (most girls do that, it's really false advertising since it changes so much but I digress).

Make whatever you like, personally. My advice is to make something that you think looks "fundamentally" okay, and then edit it when you get to Diamond city. Then you'll know better what you want to change as well (and the lighting is easier to work with).

You're an idiot and you should feel bad. Plasma weapons do two types of base damage, physical and energy. Both of those combined do a total of 216 on an enemy with 0 resistance. If the enemy had high physical resistance but no energy resistance, it would be 108 damage + the remaining physical damage not being resisted.

Two shot makes it shoot an additional projectile at it's base damage, so that gun will do a grand total of 432 damage per shot.

Learn how damages work, learn how legendary abilities work, and for fucks sake try it ingame before spouting shit from your mouth.

They look like they're based on old bench lasers, which sort of makes sense for a ruggedized piece of hardware that was still somewhat developmental as a military weapon at the time of the war. The Wattz laser weapons in FO1/2 were always described as being for the civilian market, which would justify their more "fashionable" appearance.

It'd be interesting to try and balance in a Wattz 1000 and 2000 as lower-powered laser pistols/rifles. You'd need to come up with some benefits to justify them against the military ones; make them lighter and quicker to aim, faster firing when non-automatic. Perhaps bring back the Small Energy Cells as a more plentiful ammo type for them now that everything else uses MFCs which I think were still supposed to be relatively new at the outbreak of the war.

Nope. Nobody seems to give a shit if you kill faction NPCs so long as they aren't named. I guess this is a cheap way of Bethesda to not punish you for accidental friendly fire/AI making NPCs walk toward your grenades. After a couple of hits, they'll become hostile and fight back (if they're in a group) but overall the faction won't care.
